It's A Cruel Summer

Once in a while [well, okay, most days], I dress myself very simply and I dress myself for whatever the weather in my RL is. Silly, right? :) But oh goodness, has it been HOT here. The kind of heat that slaps you in the face and calls you bad names when you walk out the front door. So this is how I dressed myself. Luckily for me, my husband thinks I'm adorable and he commented last night on how cute I looked. Sometimes he's the deciding factor on if I actually blog, especially if I didn't put together the outfit specifically for blogging. So REALLY, this is more of a "Hey! Look what I found in my closet!" post.




Rebel Hope made these awesome Molly Tie Tanks for FaMESHed this month and I just love them! I've been on a big hunt lately for short belly baring tanks, and these fit the bill to a tee.

A Sidewalk Sundae

I used to be a huge cake fan. Layer cakes, bundt cakes, cupcakes... all cakes, all the time! LOL! Okay, not that bad. But lately, I've been more into ice cream. I am all about the ice cream!





What Next came out with this cute cute Sandbridge Ice Cream Cart for The Garden this month, and I love it! I'm starting to think I might need to hit a growth spurt, though, because I can't see into the cart to pick my ice cream!

And like I mentioned yesterday, I'm still on a huge Coldlogic kick after their new release. The Matthews dress is soooo summer perfect! It's LOW in the back, but not so low that I've got any butt cleavage going on, so yay for that! But this is just so pretty and airy that I want to wear it forever.

I don't know about you, but I have more summer shopping to do!

One Summer Dream

I have been in TOTAL summertime mode lately. Summer is just that special time of the year where you can spend all day frolicking on the beach, and then spend sunset in the arms of the person you love.






Coldlogic did a huge new release yesterday! I'm wearing the Ramsey shorts, which were my favorite shorts out of the new collection. But there's lots of tops, shorts, and dresses for you to get and you'll definitely be seeing me in more items in the coming week.

Poser Pavilion is awesome, and I'm using the Can't Swim pose from WetCat for the event in the first picture. It's really awesome because if you use the posestand, the life preserver just pops up. Love!

Love Is A Verb In My Room

Summer is definitely here! I don't know about you guys, but some days during the summer, I'm awfully lazy with the heat. All I want to do is lay down in a beautiful bed, in a nice cool room, and just rest.




There are three really awesome events going on right now - Zodiac, The Garden, and Summerfest! And there are lots of gorgeous home and garden items at the events! I'll admit that I'm being super super lazy at the moment and I don't know exactly which event certain things in my room will be found at, but it really just means that you need to hit all three events and check them out. I'm sure you don't mind, right? :)

Two great events are going on right now - Zodiac and The Arcade! I swear, if you think there's nothing to shop for this month, you're living under a rock because there are so many great items out there on the grid right now, I wonder if the designers have slept in months!




From Zodiac, DCNY has this great Twin Rose tank and skirt set! I'm wearing it in pink, of course! And Adorkable has a nice little pack of Smart poses for you, too!

Now I'll admit to not being much of a Glam Affair fan in the past, but oh my GOSH, the Lulu skins from The Arcade just stole my heart!! I couldn't rest until I got them all! [Well, until my husband got them all for me. I'm really crashy right now and he's way way better at this gacha stuff than I am. Thanks, honey!] The pretty Lory hair from Wasabi Pills was also on the "must have" list, along with the fabulous Fairy Tale charm bracelet and Enchanted Rose necklace from Noodles! I'm a huge Beauty & The Beast fan and that rose in a jar is my favorite thing about the movie.

Is It Raining With You

Collabor88 started today! Woot woot! The theme this month is "Rain or Shine" and the designers have totally had fun with the theme as usual! I know there has been some debate lately, so I'll just say this: C88 was NEVER intended to be an event where people would sell everything for 88L. I have been blogging C88 from the beginning and never never never was it said that all the items would be 88L. If things seemed less expensive in the beginning, it was because it was in the pre-mesh days when a lot of things were less expensive! If you have a problem with the price of these items, you're certainly not required to shop there. But I hope you still will go to Collabor88 and support the designers, because these items are pretty darn awesome. :)

Strong Like Bull

Hey hey, it's almost May! Jane dropped some great new releases recently and Zodiac is going strong. Strong like bull!




The Day Trip dress from Jane is one of those beauties that you can totally dress up or down, whatever your style is in that moment. I really love versatile pieces and this is definitely that kind of dress!

I totally fell in love with the Andorra necklace that appears to be a collaboration piece between LouLou & Co and Virtual Insanity for Zodiac. It's girly enough for someone like me, but still has an edge to it.

Every Drop In The Ocean Counts

We have our own little private beach on Bluebonnet just a few steps from our home. I love spending time on it and it makes it just that much nicer when I have pretty new clothes to wear while playing on the beach!




Stellar is part of My Attic this month, and has brought us a great outfit called Spring Into Summer. The outfit includes the long skirt that I'm wearing, plus a bathing suit, sunglasses [also shown], earrings, a popsicle, and eye makeup. If you're into huge boobs, it also includes the Tango applier. I just adore the long skirt! I wanted to show a little more skin, so I paired it with the top of the Stillwater bikini from OneBadPixel.

Zodiac has started in the Taurus round, and there are a lot of great things to buy! My pose today comes from the Intuition pack by !Bang for Zodiac.

It's Time To Begin

The first day of Spring is rapidly approaching, and I am thrilled! I love the start of new seasons, but spring is a special favorite because it is such a rebirth of life. In my opinion, of course. :) And I'm also just so happy with all the lovely spring clothes that are hitting the grid!




Gos Boutique's new Lolita espadrilles are ridiculously cute and so very very perfect for spring! If you remember, Gos had espadrilles years ago, but these ones look even MORE amazing because they are mesh and have the foot & sheath so that it fits a LOT better than the old ones did. The espadrilles also use the Colour+ system, meaning that if you buy one pair in blue and later buy one pair in red, you can mix and match the colors of the ribbon, seam, toecap, and laces using the included HUD. I'm only wearing mine in Dusk Blue, but I had a ball mixing up all the colors to get a bright and cheerful look! These shoes are exclusive to The Boutique currently.

OneBadPixel released some new items recently, including these fab Cuffed Denim shorts, which I'm wearing in a floral print. I had a pair almost exactly like this in RL when I was younger! These shorts fit SO well, too! Sometimes mesh shorts tend to give me a really super huge bubble butt or cut off weirdly, but these are perfect!

Drift is one of those stores where every time they come out with something new, I just get super happy! I'm wearing the new Hangover tank, which is just a cute strappy tank that has removable ruffles at the bottom. I'm not wearing the ruffles today because I was just thrilled to death to find a short mesh tank, but the awesome part is that you can change the colors of both the ruffles and the tank separately. How much do you love options like that??

Coldlogic just did a new release and I'm so into this Norton combo! It comes in several colors, of course, but the coral color just called out to me! You also have the option of just using the cardigan. Yay!

Working For The Weekend

Back when I used to work in offices, I liked outfits that I could take from day to night with a few little adjustments. My outfit today reminds me of something I would have worn back then.




I decided to hit up two new-to-me stores today! I know, after my Coldlogic kick, it's probably a shock! :-p First up, I hit VinCue and got the Knotty tank. It's so cute! I love the little tie in the front. The cool thing about this is that while I'm wearing it basically solid here, it comes with a HUD and while the top part stays whatever color you buy, the bottom has 9 colors to choose from. Love!

Then I ran over to Mutresse and picked the Simona trousers. You can never ever go wrong with a classic pair of trousers that have a flattering cut!

Zaara just released new mesh jewels! The Atiriya jewelry set is just total love. I'm wearing the necklace and a bracelet, but there are earrings as well. I didn't put them on because with my new [and so super cute!] Lavinia hair from Truth, they wouldn't have shown.

Buffalo Gals, Won't You Come Out Tonight?

I'm watching "It's A Wonderful Life" right now and the song "Buffalo Gals" will be in my head for days! But I had to show you guys some newness from this month's FaMESHed!




Pink Outfitters brings us the Tori Bodycon dresses this month. It's a simple dress, which you all know I adore, with a nice little belt. You could, of course, wear it without the belt, or if you have another one that fits over the dress, that would work, too! The thing I love about classic dresses is that you can dress them up or down in so many ways!

And oh my GOD, look at the Fufu Bag from Maxi Gossamer! I seriously squealed when I saw these purses because I have a total love of sparkly, pretty, party purses! I'm carrying the silver shimmer one, but the combo pack comes with black feather as well. Also, you have the option to carry it in your hand or on your shoulder.

Always Another Show

As I was mentioning in a comment to another post here, I'm not much of a skin addict. I know, I know. I LIKE new skins, I love love love to go demo skins, but I'm picky and once I find a skin that is ME, I won't change for a while. But, I'm trying to branch out a little bit and find new skins, and you know I'd never lead you guys to an ugly skin that I wouldn't wear myself. So with that said, how cute is the Faith skin from PXL??




It's a little more mature than my normal younger looking face, but I think that's what I like about it! When I look at a skin, I look at it from head to toe and all the bits in between, and believe me when I say this one is just fab! This one that I'm wearing is the PXL VIP group gift, and if you're in the group [and really, you should be], you can receive 25% off of all Faith skin tones and makeups until October 27th!

Have you been to Zodiac yet? No? You need to go so you can get the Jenny strapless blouse from Pink Outfitters! It's ladylike and simple, but still sexy! I found that the top of the blouse was bigger than what I'm normally used to in a Medium size, so if you're more busty than I am, you should have no problems fitting into this!

Picture Perfect Memories

The Scorpio round of Zodiac starts tomorrow!! I adore Zodiac, I think the designers always have so much fun with it and make so many things that I just HAVE to have!




Bilo has these really lovely Hiba dresses for Zodiac. I just can never have enough casual dresses. Sometimes all you want is something pretty and simple to put on so you can look presentable without having to fuss too much. But you can most definitely dress this up with higher heels and more jewelry. I kept it simple here because that's the mood I was in.

I think the Hiba dress also goes really well with the Coffee Bean jewelry Izzie's has for FAIR! I'm not a coffee addict [anymore] but I think coffee bean jewelry is really unique and fun!

Hold It Against Me

Yay! The new round of Zodiac started on Saturday! I know this is only the 3rd cycle, but I really think this is the best one yet!




I don't blog a ton of lingerie in here because I'm shy [and because I rarely ever buy it], but the Balance lingerie from Solange for Zodiac is so pretty! I've been dancing around to make the little tassels wave ever since I put it on.

And how cute are the Morning Light Cupboard Beds from Trompe Loeil for FAIR?? They come in different colors and can be styled in sooo many ways, as I'm sure you've seen other bloggers do recently. Love!
