I've been wearing nail polishes from Hello Dave quite a bit in the past few months. The polishes are always gorgeous and come in almost every color you can think of. The latest High Gloss release is fantastic! You know you need new colors for your SLink fingers and toes! Hello Dave is only on the Marketplace, so it's truly easy to shop for your goodies.

I wore some of the Ascend jewelry by Cae for FaMESHed in a previous post, but I didn't get to show off the ring, which is actually my favorite piece from the set. I just love rings, but so many don't resize right for the SLink hands, and Cae's rings always do. The jewelry comes with a HUD so you can change the metal and the jewel colors, and also resize.

Just Take Your Time

I do a lot of inventory cleaning on an almost daily basis. Not a lot, obviously, since my inventory is still pretty massive. But I throw away things pretty much daily as I come across them. A lot of the time, this does mean I'm throwing out something that was made before August 2011 when mesh came out. However, sometimes I find just the right old [vintage?] item deep in my inventory and I feel like it pulls my look totally together.




I really like the new Band Jackets from Cracked Mirror for FaMESHed this month. Being a former band nerd myself, of course the first thing I think of when I think of band jackets is the letter jacket that I wore almost daily, but these are more like uniform jackets. Quite structured, very classic. These come with a short "shirt" inside, and I kind of wish they had a no shirt option to pair up with a longer belly covering shirt, but I do like this a lot.

The vintage item I found that I felt really went with my whole look was the Ginger boots from Shiny Things. They are from 2010 [very old in SL years!] and just sculpts, but I don't think they look dated at ALL. *sighs* I miss Shiny Things. The store is still up if you want to shop there, though.

By the way, have you been to The Garden yet? If you haven't, you need to go. I'm standing in the Bozeman Barn by Barnesworth Anubis and is it ever awesome! Big rooms and sliding doors and this fantastic two sided fireplace. It would be great for a winter sim!

PSL 4 Ever!

My friends always laugh because I am ridiculously into pumpkin spice anything. Candles, air fresheners, cupcakes, etc. I dance around all of August waiting for pumpkin spice lattes, even though I'm not actually much of a coffee drinker any more. When I saw the new Cocoa-On-The-Go Cart from What Next, I thought, "Would I not be dancing in crazy glee if this thing was parked out in front of my house at all times??"




Isn't it adorable?? It is materials ready, so if you are using a viewer that shows materials [I am not], then it'll look just a touch different than in my photo. The cart is just a decorative prop, but if you click on it, it gives you a menu and you can choose from a a variety of drinks and a doughnut! The cups are super cute, too.




I had to get the small PSL because it fit my hand the best, but you know I usually order a large! The Cocoa-On-The-Go Cart is on sale now at the What Next mainstore and if you are a VIP member, it's 50% off until Tuesday evening.

Oh, can we talk about my hair for a second? Truth released 3 new styles yesterday and I am in fangirllove with the Anita hair. It's long, it's simple, it's exactly what I need.

And All Along I Believed I Would Find You

We had a wonderful party last night! I didn't plan on blogging my dress that I finally found to wear for the party, but well, I logged in and I'm still dressed. And it took me SO long to find a dress, I feel like I should share! :)




So like I said yesterday, I went to La Penderie de Nicole night before last, and when I saw the My Swarovski Dress, I knew it was perfect for the party! It's short, but with the neckline being just off the shoulder and having long sleeves, it's both classy and simple. It comes in different colors and there is a same style dress without the crystal pattern as well, if you're not into sparklies.

As much as I like dressing up, I think it's time to take off my heels and go do some shopping!

Song of the Woods

I went to The Seasons Story today and simply fell in love with the Kalli2 hair from D!va! I had told myself that my next blog post would not take place in our autumn woods, but well... rules are made to be broken at times, am I right?




D!va seriously does the best messy hair. All the cute little wispies and the messy side braid combined with the awesome leaves and fruit band makes this just the most awesome frolic-in-the-leaves hair style ever! You also have the option of turning off the fruit on the band, or hiding the band altogether so you can wear this hair any time of the year.

If you haven't hit up FaMESHed yet, you need to because Emery has these awesome Mykonos pleated long skirts available. I'm not always huge into maxi skirts, but I feel like this one works really well with this time of the year because while the skirt is sheer, there is good coverage up at the top.

I have more dancing in the leaves to do, and you need to go shop!

But Then Fall Comes

Do you ever go around for days not getting dressed because you know what you'd really like to wear but yet you can't find just the RIGHT thing, and then suddenly something new is released and it's perfect and exactly what you wanted? That's the new Coldlogic release for me!




Dresses and little jackets! Oh, I'm so thrilled!! I'm wearing the Plume dress with the Stiles jacket. The coolest part about this release is that you can totally mix and match the dresses and little jackets, or wear the dresses and jackets alone. I cannot wait to see what I can pair up these little jackets with because they're awesome! And as you can see, totally perfect for the upcoming autumn season!

It's A Cruel Summer

Once in a while [well, okay, most days], I dress myself very simply and I dress myself for whatever the weather in my RL is. Silly, right? :) But oh goodness, has it been HOT here. The kind of heat that slaps you in the face and calls you bad names when you walk out the front door. So this is how I dressed myself. Luckily for me, my husband thinks I'm adorable and he commented last night on how cute I looked. Sometimes he's the deciding factor on if I actually blog, especially if I didn't put together the outfit specifically for blogging. So REALLY, this is more of a "Hey! Look what I found in my closet!" post.




Rebel Hope made these awesome Molly Tie Tanks for FaMESHed this month and I just love them! I've been on a big hunt lately for short belly baring tanks, and these fit the bill to a tee.

Wide Open Spaces

Oh, Mr. Hawks. I swear, when he releases a hair, the only thing I want to do is put it on and run around in it.




Genesis might be my favorite out of this week's releases. It's long, beautiful, and with a great little braid. Love love love!

Also, if you were waiting for Truth to release at FaMESHed, the hair is there now, and it's similar to Genesis but with a side braided loose ponytail. It's gorgeous, too!

A Sidewalk Sundae

I used to be a huge cake fan. Layer cakes, bundt cakes, cupcakes... all cakes, all the time! LOL! Okay, not that bad. But lately, I've been more into ice cream. I am all about the ice cream!





What Next came out with this cute cute Sandbridge Ice Cream Cart for The Garden this month, and I love it! I'm starting to think I might need to hit a growth spurt, though, because I can't see into the cart to pick my ice cream!

And like I mentioned yesterday, I'm still on a huge Coldlogic kick after their new release. The Matthews dress is soooo summer perfect! It's LOW in the back, but not so low that I've got any butt cleavage going on, so yay for that! But this is just so pretty and airy that I want to wear it forever.

I don't know about you, but I have more summer shopping to do!

Suddenly Last Summer

I know, I know. We JUST got to spring and already I'm thinking about summer?? I can't help it! I'm a total summer girl! When I tried on the new Nox jumper in Candy from Coldlogic yesterday, I immediately thought, "Oh, that's a summer vacation outfit right there."

It's Time To Begin

The first day of Spring is rapidly approaching, and I am thrilled! I love the start of new seasons, but spring is a special favorite because it is such a rebirth of life. In my opinion, of course. :) And I'm also just so happy with all the lovely spring clothes that are hitting the grid!




Gos Boutique's new Lolita espadrilles are ridiculously cute and so very very perfect for spring! If you remember, Gos had espadrilles years ago, but these ones look even MORE amazing because they are mesh and have the foot & sheath so that it fits a LOT better than the old ones did. The espadrilles also use the Colour+ system, meaning that if you buy one pair in blue and later buy one pair in red, you can mix and match the colors of the ribbon, seam, toecap, and laces using the included HUD. I'm only wearing mine in Dusk Blue, but I had a ball mixing up all the colors to get a bright and cheerful look! These shoes are exclusive to The Boutique currently.

OneBadPixel released some new items recently, including these fab Cuffed Denim shorts, which I'm wearing in a floral print. I had a pair almost exactly like this in RL when I was younger! These shorts fit SO well, too! Sometimes mesh shorts tend to give me a really super huge bubble butt or cut off weirdly, but these are perfect!

Drift is one of those stores where every time they come out with something new, I just get super happy! I'm wearing the new Hangover tank, which is just a cute strappy tank that has removable ruffles at the bottom. I'm not wearing the ruffles today because I was just thrilled to death to find a short mesh tank, but the awesome part is that you can change the colors of both the ruffles and the tank separately. How much do you love options like that??

Living Glam At The Christmas Expo

Have you been to the RFL Christmas Expo yet? No? Well, you better hurry! It ends tomorrow!




I stumbled upon new-to-me store LIV-Glam while at the Expo yesterday, and I couldn't resist the Amy trench coat! It's a real steal at only $99L and comes with a HUD so you can change your coat into one of thirteen colors. There is also a special colored trench that is just for RFL that you can buy separately. I think it's very cute, although I wish the inside was not transparent. In certain poses, you can really tell the transparency. [Look at my left wrist to see what I mean.] But for such a cute and affordable coat, trust me, I'll let it slide!

The RFL Christmas Expo ends tomorrow, December 19th, so scoot on over and check it out!

So Really I Better Scurry

Hello readers! Did you miss me? I know, probably were too busy shopping to notice I was gone, right? I don't blame you a bit! Sooo much goodness has come out in the past week!




Collabor88 is unbelievable this month! I'm so happy with the Chaud dresses from Ingenue, I hardly know what to do. I've said it time and time again, but I adore simple pieces that you can dress up or down in so many ways, and this fits the bill! I dressed this one up with the Baboushka fur collar and fur hat from Maxi Gossamer at C88. I love all the fluff! And Fashionably Dead has some awesome Knee High mesh socks [the tops are mesh, not the actual sock part] that I couldn't resist wearing. My thighs might get cold, but who cares when I look this cute, am I right?

Also at C88, Trompe Loeil has the cutest little mesh winter cottage called Frostbite! Because it sits on its own snowpile and has trees, you really could just put it anywhere! The inside is basically just one room and has a fireplace. Cozy!

Picture Perfect Memories

The Scorpio round of Zodiac starts tomorrow!! I adore Zodiac, I think the designers always have so much fun with it and make so many things that I just HAVE to have!




Bilo has these really lovely Hiba dresses for Zodiac. I just can never have enough casual dresses. Sometimes all you want is something pretty and simple to put on so you can look presentable without having to fuss too much. But you can most definitely dress this up with higher heels and more jewelry. I kept it simple here because that's the mood I was in.

I think the Hiba dress also goes really well with the Coffee Bean jewelry Izzie's has for FAIR! I'm not a coffee addict [anymore] but I think coffee bean jewelry is really unique and fun!

I'm a night owl. I always have been, and I think always will be. The funny part is that I'm kind of night blind and I don't go out at night a lot. I save my early evening wanderings for SL.




Stellar has come out with some great new items! The Corduroy mini skirts are just fantastic! I have been waiting for new mesh mini skirts and these fit the bill! There are matching Turtlenecks as well! The turtlenecks are a mix of texture and mesh pieces, so you don't need to worry about sizes. If you're in the Stellar VIP group, there is a free Halloween corduroy skirt waiting for you at the store!

Truth released new hair this weekend, and how amazing is the Dawson ponytail?? I'm still all kinds of excited about his new color fades, so I'm wearing this in Barbie, a mix of blonde and pink. Cute!

FAIR just opened this weekend, and the Joy skin from Lara Hurley is a total win! I've never actually worn one of her skins before [that I can remember], so this was a real joy to try on. I'm a fan now!

As much as I love the night, the morning has me working hard, so I'm off to bed.

I have a huge headache today, but I just couldn't resist showing you all one of the new coats from Coldlogic!




The Shreve coat is just perfection. A long time ago, I had a coat similar to this but of course it was made all out of prims and never looked QUITE right. Mesh was just absolutely made for things like coats and I'm definitely very much in love with this one today!

It Was Like A Movie
