Pose Fair Is Coming!

Pose Fair is coming!!!! I'm so excited!! Posemakers are some of the unsung heroes in Second Life, in my opinion. If you like to sit with your partner, or take fun pictures, or fashion blog - you NEED posers! And if you're a blogger and you never credit at least who made your pose, you kinda suck.

Without the posemakers, all our fashion pictures would look like this.




Yeahhh.... That's not hot. At all.

But, due to our fab posemakers and all the fun they bring to our SLives, we get awesome pictures like this!

It's the hap-happiest season of all!

Oh, look at this place! It's beautifully decorated, isn't it?




I just love when I stumble upon sims where I can take pictures. It's so helpful that people decorate so that... What? It's not a sim? OH THAT'S RIGHT. It's a collaboration piece from Pilot and Exposeur!




This wonderful winter Snow Globe makes my heart happy! I collect snow globes in SL, and actually being in one is awesome! Pilot does wonderful mesh work, and Exposeur makes some of the best poses on the grid, so now could this NOT be full of fantastic?? This globe comes in at 44 Land Impact, and has 7 couples poses, 3 group poses, 5 female poses and 5 male poses. Also, there's a little mini version [3 LI] of the globe for decoration! I already have it out on one of our shelves!

I think more people need to do collaboration projects. When two awesome creators combine forces, it's pretty much always amazing!

I'll admit it, I have a very long nighttime beauty routine! What? You think this kind of face is just natural? No way! Because I spend so much time in the bathroom, I always like to make sure it's clean and neat. My husband, however... well, you know men.

A Little Cleaning Up

So my dear husband is out of town this weekend, and I figured it would be a great time to clean up a bit around the house. Luckily with the Fancy Feathers collaborative set from Exposeur and Cheeky Pea for Zodiac, I can get all the dusting done!




Miel put out just the cutest little minidresses for today's Fifty Linden Friday! The Playa dress is short and sexy, and has some great color change options via an easy to use HUD.

Spruce Up Your Space starts tomorrow, and MudHoney has this really sweet Harriet set for us. The chair even has an animation to pet a kitty! My kitty from this month's Collabor88 has a new place to sit!

Okay, back to cleaning. I can't let him come home to a dirty house!

Zodiac is coming! Brought to you by The Hottie Cooterati Experience, Zodiac is a monthly themed event [and that means discounts for you!] and starts with a roar with my favorite sign [because it's my sign!] - LEO!




Elymode made the Leoness mesh skirt for the event and it's really cute! Now I am usually a medium in standard sizing, but I found the medium too big in this skirt, so I'm wearing a small. If you're a little more on the curvy side, try this skirt on. I think you'll find that it's a more generous in the hips than some that are out there.

Glitterati has the Wild pack of poses for Zodiac, and I really like them. But I'm a bit of a pose whore [about 10,000 poses currently take up space in my inventory - possibly more] so I'm ALWAYS happy to add more to the bunch!

Zodiac opens tomorrow, July 23rd [the start of the Leo cycle!] and runs until August 17th. I'll have the SLurl later when I'm allowed to give it out!

All Kinds Of Shopping!

With all the events, I definitely need my strength, so I went to buy groceries! I know the husband will be happy. We almost never eat!




Actually, this pose is from the Market Day set by aDORKable Poses that will be sold at Culture Shock! So cute!

Aura has these cute Ruffled Boho Tops for Stumblebum! They're mesh!! And they go great with the recently released Cuffed Denim Shorts from Mon Tissu. I have been searching for shorts like this my entire SLife!

For FaMESHed, Gos brings us the Triumph boots in Denim! They have the option to have the leg part up, or rolled down like I have it here. The boots come in both male and female versions. Also at FaMESHed, you can get this cool Ketama ring from Maxi Gossamer! It's color change, and I'm wearing it in silver and white. It attaches to your ring finger, but since that's where I wear my wedding ring, I moved it to my index finger. There's a bigger one for your right hand, as well.

Lazy Days!

It's Spruce Up Your Space time!! I swear, I just love this event! Of course, I'm a total home & garden addict. Funky Junk doesn't disappoint with the new Lazy Days Hanging Bed and Gazebo!

I can be incredibly lazy and finding a spot for pics can be hard. So thanks, Heidi and Black, for having a nice spot on your parcel for me to shoot a pic! I know you did it just for me!




coldLogic released more mesh goodies for spring this week, and oh I am in LOVE! Of course, I love pretty much all they do, but the new Weiss tops and Smith skirts are a total win in my book! They do standard sizing and the sizes are very true to fit.

Let's Take A Trip!

Helloooo readers! I've been on vacation!




Well, switch out the hotel background for the deck at my tia's house, and that's the vacation I was on. :) It was great to come home to new items! Like the mesh SS12 Shorts from Leverocci! Oh my word, I have been SEARCHING for cute mesh shorts and these fit the bill to a tee! Of course, now I want loads more mesh shorts. I understand that with mesh, we can have loose, flowey, drapey things - but hey, sometimes we need cute little things, too!

Speaking of cute little things, look at my cute Keen Tank from Jane! You get two options with this one, the smaller hem, which is good if you're wearing regular jeans, and the wide hem, which works better with other mesh bottoms.

Cheerfully Spring!

So many great deals and sales and events going on! Let me see how much I can smash into one post!

The March Mesh Madness event is going on, and if you're able to get in [it's pretty packed!], you can get this fab Thistle dress from Jane and cute Ginger hair from Wasabi Pills!




Jane is now doing standard sizes, which is a huge WIN for me ever since I modded my shape to fit into the size I wanted. And this dress is so fluffy and adorable, I don't want to take it off! And I am such a fan of Wasabi Pills now that they do mesh hair. This hair is kind of 70s/80s retro with the hairband and it has a low pony tail in the back.

Stumblebum just started its new round yesterday! The theme this time is "Cheer" and the Briar skin from Aura is out in two tones with a couple of makeups. I'm wearing the Aqua makeup to match my dress.




Briar is my everyday skin lately, so new makeups are always nice! The skins this time only come in the Honey and Espresso tones. I'm wearing Honey, and I have to say, I'm really getting attached to it although my normal tone is Milk.

Also for Stumblebum, Frooti has a Happy Days Mini Pack of 3 poses, which I'm using for my post today!

And for SCD's Disco Deals, Dark Mouse has out this delicate Les Etoiles Brillent necklace & earrings set. I am ALWAYS looking for more delicate jewelry, so this fits the bill nicely! I'm wearing the Copper metal here, and it also comes in gold and silver.

Lean On Me

I'm forever looking for good friends poses. Well, okay, I'm forever looking for good poses in general, but it's not always easy to find good poses for girl friends! And I always want to have great friend poses since I have some awesome girl friends, like my forever wifey and creator of Funky Junk, Ulaa!




Fluke came out with the Lean On Me pose, and it's just adorable! Ulaa and I are both a little on the "short" side [about 5'6-5'7 on the height slider] and it fit us PERFECTLY without any modding at all. Love!

What I also love is the new Petit Ami sweater from Entente! The sweater is mesh, and you get the base sweater in grey with a texture HUD. Then you just buy texture packs! I bought the Stripes - Vibrant pack and I'm so happy with it! The base sweater comes in both male and female sizes [standard sizes for the female].

Stumble In My Undies

Going Back

School starts back here in my area tomorrow. I'm a huge fan of back to school stuff! New clothes, new school supplies, the works! Of course, I'm not in school anymore, but I can still look the part!




I totally fell in love with this little Lace Heart Cropped Top from Emery, out right now at The Dressing Room Blue.  And the Lavender hair I picked up from fri.day for Fifty Linden Friday is sooo cute!  A "tiny bird" said there's a new hair designer at fri.day, so I guess we can expect more goodies soon!  Oh, and I could not resist these mouth pencils from Naminoke that I picked up at the Gacha Festival!  I don't usually like things hanging off my mouth, but these are cute and who doesn't put a pencil in their mouth sometimes?

Guess what's coming up this Friday? POSE FAIR!!! If you do a lot of photos, this is like a slice of heaven! Bunches of the grid's best posemakers coming together in one place? Hell yeah! I grabbed my man last night [hi honey!] and we played on some of the poses that I've been allowed to see early.

Spring Holiday

Ms. Janie Marlowe has made with the goodies again this week and oh, what a week it is at Jane! I absolutely fell in love with this darling little Patchwork Dress!




This strapless sundress is just precious! I love the texture. The subtle print of flowers and butterflies makes this perfect for spring. Oh Janie, how you appeal to my girly girl side!

Do you like my petals? They come from aDORKable Poses' Petals In The Wind set for Chic Limited this month. The set contains 4 petals props with poses and each one is sooo cute and so awesome for pictures! Pacific Crisis Fundraiser

When the devastating earthquake hit Japan, immediately the Second Life community asked, "How can we help?" The Pacific Crisis Fundraiser opens to the public on March 16th with over 250 designers already signed up provide donation items. Almost all the creators have 100% of their proceeds going to UNICEF. If you're a creator and interested in participating, please sign up here. For shoppers - well, there are MANY awesome things to buy for a good cause!




This adorable Primavera dress comes from new-to-me store Honey Soul. I think it's just darling! It's also perfect with the Sakura hair from Exile. The little flowers are color change, or you can turn them off if flowers aren't your thing.
