Living Glam At The Christmas Expo

Have you been to the RFL Christmas Expo yet? No? Well, you better hurry! It ends tomorrow!

Style - Living Glam At The Christmas Expo

I stumbled upon new-to-me store LIV-Glam while at the Expo yesterday, and I couldn't resist the Amy trench coat! It's a real steal at only $99L and comes with a HUD so you can change your coat into one of thirteen colors. There is also a special colored trench that is just for RFL that you can buy separately. I think it's very cute, although I wish the inside was not transparent. In certain poses, you can really tell the transparency. [Look at my left wrist to see what I mean.] But for such a cute and affordable coat, trust me, I'll let it slide!

The RFL Christmas Expo ends tomorrow, December 19th, so scoot on over and check it out!

Christmas Cutie

If you haven't heard, an awesome fundraiser is going to be held for Second Lifer Sway Dench. You all might know Sway from the cuteness she creates - like cookie bears! You can read up on why the event is being held over here on the Together For Sway blog. Updated: Here is the SLurl for the event! Over 50 of SL's best designers are taking part in this awesome event, including Funky Junk!

Style - Christmas Cutie - Front

The Noelle house is just about as cute and Christmassy as they come! It's a small home with a large living area, a smaller downstairs room, and a spacious upstairs loft area. There is also a great back sun room!

Style - Christmas Cutie - Back

Together For Sway starts on December 15th and I'll update this post with the SLurl when the event starts. Be sure to shop, get some awesome stuff, and help out one of our own! See you there!

Quiet day for me today. I'm really just waiting for the morning.

Style - I Hope To Be There By The Morning

Couple of events to tell you about: The Unhinged event kicked off today and there are a lot of great designers involved. This event is a charity fundraiser for Second Lifer Eku Zhong. I don't know Eku myself, but when so many people are willing to help you out, you've got to be a pretty special person. You can read all about the event on this page.

FAIR starts on November 17th, and as usual, it's going to be fantastic! Lots of great items and I'll definitely been showing you guys more from the event after it opens.

A Blooming Rose

Fashion For Life starts today at noon!! I've been in pink girly heaven with this gown from My Precious by Agnes Finney called Forever Yours.

Style - A Blooming Rose

I don't wear a lot of gowns, but THIS one...WOW! So very impressed! It's like walking springtime, and being this lovely shade of pink, you know I'm very happy to float around in it.

I'm not sure which sim My Precious is on for FFL [I know, bad blogger!] but I'll update this when I get the SLurl. But truly, you should walk around FFL anyway because there's some wonderful stuff out there!

Guarded By An Angel

One of my favorite times of the year is about to start! Fashion For Life starts on the 10th, and that marks the annual start of the official ‘Relay for Life’ events that take place inworld each year. I love it because you can always pick up some great things for charity, like this Adorabelle angel outfit from Angelwing!

Style - Guarded By An Angel

This outfit is really something! 20 pieces and lots of great prim work! The staff even has a pose in it. It's not something I'd wear every day, obviously, but it is certainly impressive if you need something for photos or even if you're RPing an angel. Loves it!

Fashion For Life starts on March 10th and is 10 sims full of great designers all working together to support the American Cancer Society.

Skins & Shapes!!

Did you hear? The Skin & Shape Expo opened todayyyy!!! Are you excited?? Although I'm not as big of a skin whore as some people who shall remain nameless, I do love a good skin. I don't normally buy shapes, but there are some really lovely ones out there, too. Let's see three of my favorite finds [so far!] from this year's expo!

From Belleza, the ADORABLE Aiko skin!

Style - Belleza: Aiko skin

How sweet is that face? It's more of an Asian style skin, so I changed up my shape a little to reflect that, and I just love it! There are 15 makeups to choose from, plus lipsticks!

Amacci has some full avatars this year, and this is the skin, shape, and hair from the Kiara avatar.

Style - Amacci: Kiara skin & shape

So pretty! The full avatar package is truly a great deal because you get the Katie skin, different sized shapes, the Emilia hair, eyebrow bases, eyes, cleavage tats, and lingerie.

And what skin fair is complete without Curio? The new May skin is just so lovely!

Style - Curio: May skin

I'm wearing this on my own regular shape and I just adore it! There are 12 makeups and of course the Megapack is a real bargain because you get alllll the skin tones and makeups. The only thing that would make this even better in my eyes is if there were blonde eyebrows! Please, Gala? PLEASE???

Get yourselves over to the Skin & Shape Expo NOW!!!

Just Cute!

Sometimes you don't want to be classy or high fashion or anything except for cute! Luckily, that's super easy to do in Second Life - especially lately!

Style - Just Cute

Have you been to Project Fur Japan yet? No? WHY??? I picked up this Rabbit Stamp shirt from Ange at Project Fur, and I just love it! [This SLurl should take you directly to the vendor.] It comes with 2 colors in the pack and is only $50L, so really, it's a heck of deal for so much cute.

Speaking of Project Fur AND cute, look at my HAIR! Truth's BabyDoll hair is inspired by the movie Sucker Punch, and I'm SO glad he made it because I was 2 seconds away from jumping in his IM to pester him about it. I love it so much, I honestly have NOT worn another hair since I got it last week. You love it, you need it. [This SLurl will take you to the vendor at Project Fur.]

Yesterday, I got this Andrea Head Decor from SoliDea Little Folies and I thought it went perfectly with my hair! I did have to mod it a little to fit my weird shaped head, but sunflowers are pretty much my favorite flower ever, so it was worth it!

I'm heading off to go bounce around and be cute! You guys go be cute too!

Front Row: Jane

Front Row started yesterday!! Have you started hitting up some of the stores yet? No? Why not?? Front Row is an event that benefits Relay For Life, and oh, what amazing designs there are! I was so happy to see one of my favorite stores, Jane, taking part in it!

Style - Front Row - Jane

The Anna dress is just so sweet. Of course, I could say that about any of Janie's designs, but just look at it! A daisy printed skirt combined with a little printed tank and topped off with a slim leather belt? How could you NOT love it? And don't forget that 100% of the proceeds of this dress go to Relay For Life! Pretty dress for a good cause? Sign me up!

Head over to Jane to pick this up, or go this page to see other designers taking place in this event.

Front Row: Vanitas Vesture

Here is another treat from the Glance Front Row event coming up tomorrow, April 1st. This lovely little dress is from Vanitas Vesture.

Style - Front Row - Vanitas Vesture

This ladylike dress is called Obsessive, and I have been obsessed with strutting around my house in it! The style is simple, but the print is what really brings out the beauty in the lines.

The Front Row event takes us on a fashion tour of 50 of Second Life's best designers. 100% of the proceeds of all of the Front Row items go to Relay For Life. Pretty stuff and a good cause? Heck yes!

Front Row: Nemesis

I was very honored to be chosen as one of the bloggers for the Glance International Front Row event. Fifty of the grid's best designers are taking part in this "fashion tour" and for the month of April, you'll be able to stop by their mainstores and pick up some new designs with 100% of the proceeds going towards Relay For Life. Over the next month, I'll be showing you some of the best from the event. Let's get started with this wonderful outfit from Nemesis!

Style - Glance Front Row: Nemesis

The red Bustier is a simply lovely top that you can dress up or down in many ways. I layered it over a t-shirt with some jeans and it looked fab! And the Summer Skirt in black and red is just adorable! I love the big big buttons that go down the front.

Front Row starts on April 1st at 12pm SLT and I'll tell you all - get ready for some amazing shopping!

Royally Sweet

I am so excited! One of my friends, QueenKellee Kuu, is back in SL and has reopened her store - Royally! Kellee is pretty awesome, and she's reopened with items for the Pacific Crisis Fundraiser. I HAD to go buy this outfit because not only is it darling, it's named after me!!

Style - Royally Sweet

This is the Alicia ballet outfit, and it is simply too cute for words! The outfit comes with 3 different style skirts, and they are able to change colors. Love love love!

Kellee also has some lovely turtlenecks out for PCF as well, and you can purchase the turtlenecks or the outfit I'm wearing either at PCF or at Royally.

This dreamy little Off Shoulder Gauze Tunic from Aoharu is just so sweet. I absolutely love it. And really, you could dress it up or down, which is something I always look for when buying outfits. The wonderful Zsa Zsa Leo ring from Donna Flora is also not to be missed. I just love big rings, and turquoise, and this is a lovely combination of both.

Afternoon Delight

Guess what starts this weekend? Fashion For Life! You may remember this as being the RFL Clothing Fair in the past, but it's a bit different this year, and you can read about it on their website. But it is still a charity event for the American Cancer Society. :) I'm not one of the official bloggers, but Sachi Vixen of Adam n Eve was kind enough to allow me to give you all a sneak peek!

Style - Afternoon Delight

I've been seeing a lot of high waisted pants in SL lately, and I LOVE it. Check out the Jenica pants! High waisted with buttons, these pants give you some rockin' curves! Seriously, I stood and stared at my butt for a long time. And don't my legs look just a mile long?? I paired it up with the Cataloon shirt, which gave the whole look almost a retro vibe to me, but still fresh and feminine. I love the ruffles on this shirt, it's just precious!

Fashion For Life starts on Saturday, March 12th, and you will be sad if you don't pick these items up from Adam n Eve! Not to mention there are so so so many designers participating!! Get ready to shop!

Garden City Relief

When the horrible news of the earthquake in New Zealand came in, several creators sprung into action, as they tend to do. We might not be able to be there physically for those who need help, but never let it be said that Second Lifers can't raise a ton of money for charity when we need to! The Garden City Relief event started a few days ago, and there are some amazing items there! All proceeds go 100% to the charity to help the people in New Zealand.

Style - Garden City Relief

I picked up this In Bloom dress from AddiCt, and these NZ Paua Coral Bracelets from MOOD at the event. I know that they probably weren't designed to go together, but the colors blend SO well together, all peachy and warm, that you can't really buy one without buying the other. I'm also wearing the In Bloom eye makeup in Dahlia by cheLLe. You can't see it really well in my photo, but it's a soft peach color with a splash of lavender underneath. There are 6 shadows in the package, all of them bright and lovely.

Garden City Relief is happening until March 5th. Go out there, buy some pretties, and contribute to a wonderful cause!

Bundle Up

I haven't been in Second Life much the past week, but if there was one thing that was going to get me to run right in today, it was the fact that there is adorable newness at Jane!

Style - Bundle Up

The Melody dress is a sweet, babydoll style dress with little buttons on the front. My SL guy gave me My So Called Life for our anniversary yesterday [hi babe!] and I know that Angela Chase would have felt very at home in this cute little dress as she was running around with Rayanne.

To go with this dress, you HAVE to get the Melody cardigan. HAVE. TO. If you love little cardigans like I do, you're going to want these in your inventory, whether you get the dress or not.

Today for Sheer Madness at Jane, you can get the fatpack of the Lil Piggies Striped Tights for the awesome price of $50L. 31 colors of cute tights for $50L?? Sign me up!

I can't seem to take off the Yolanda 2 hair from Truth. It's so cute, I want to sit and play with my hair all day. Truth has also been doing this cool thing lately with his longer styles where the hair is done in split attachments. Makes adjusting it soooo much easier!

And because I simply can't take them off either, I'm wearing the SLink Heidi Rainboots from the Extend A Helping Hand event. They have a darling little frog peeking out! It's like you have a friend! 100% of the proceeds from these boots, and many other things at the event, go to help the Queenslanders who were affected by the awful flooding. Cute boots and helping out - that seems like a fair deal to me.

30 Days - Day 6

Be sure to stop by the ThanksGIVING Community Food Market ! You'll find some cute cute things and the money being raised goes to the World Food Programme. The Market runs until November 26th, and as you can see on the sign behind me, they're still accepting participants.

Style - 30 Days - Day 6

Don't you love my Cheesecake bag? I bought it at the Food Market! It's from Duboo, and there's also one with a cupcake, too. You KNOW I had to buy them both. And you can't see it very well, but I'm wearing the Supa Fast Food Ring by Tasty, also found at the Market. It's simply adorable!

The rest of my look is fairly simple, so I won't go into it. It's Saturday night, I'm sure you have much shopping to do!

Halloween Hunt For Autism Starts Monday!

The Halloween Hunt For Autism begins on Monday, and I really hope all of you take part! You can find fab Halloween items, such as this Creepy Fireplace Facade from Funky Junk!

Review - Funky Junk - Halloween Hunt For Autism Gift

This hunt does require a $50L donation to get started, with the money collected going to Autism Speaks. Head to the starting point and pay your $50L. You'll receive trick or treat bag to wear and the landmark for your next location. Be sure to wear your bag to get your treats! I believe there are 50 stores participating, but don't quote me on that.

Normally I don't endorse many hunts, but this one means a great deal to me. Two of my best friends have autistic children, and even though I have seen their daily struggles, I cannot imagine what it is they truly go through. Pay your $50L, get some good stuff, and help out a great cause. It's win win. :)

Wear Gray - Elymode!

More from Wear Gray, which starts on Sunday. This time from the wonderful store of Elymode!

Wear Gray - Elymode

I'm wearing the Joelle outfit in purple and black. I love it! I'm a huge fan of separates, so I know that the pants, top, and shrug will definitely be getting some use in my wardrobe.

With stores like Elymode, Wear Gray is certainly shaping up into a very fabulous and fashionable event!!
