Have you ever noticed that we spend a lot of time looking at our own backsides in SL? When we walk around, our eyes are just THERE. Right on our booties! But luckily there are some fantastic stores out there that make items that make our behinds totally look-worthy. Such as...




The new Damask jeans from OneBadPixel are great for your butt! Actually, they're great all over, because they hug your curves in ALL the right places. But yep, I'll admit, my eyes went IMMEDIATELY to my behind! With these jeans, people might be sad to see you leave, but they sure won't be sad to see you walking away!

Oh god, I'm so lame. LOL!

While you're walking away, people can see the cute bow in your hair on the new Misty hair by Truth! I always love how there is some little detail to Truth's hair that just makes it fab. For me this time, it's the little twist in the back of the hair that leads into the ponytail. You can't really see it in this picture, but when I got the hair, I was just delighted to see it!

Berry's Meme - Meet My Friend!

When Berry made her Meet My Friend meme, my first thought was to do it with my best friend. But then I thought, well that's highly expected, now isn't it? Over the past 3 years, I've shied away from making too many new friends and have stuck with the same few people. Back in January, a blogger named Kirsten Corleone added me to Plurk, but either she wasn't using it much, or I wasn't paying attention, because I didn't really notice her until last month. But let me tell you something - I'm glad I did because she has become one of my favorite people in SL, and I knew she was the one that I should do the meme with.




I'm deviating away from the meme slightly because while I did ask her questions, I've always found that you get to know a person better when you're just talking. And oh, did we talk last night! But most of what we talked about needs to stay off the record because it was just us getting to know each other more. I'm sure you all understand. ;)

What I discovered about Kirsten is that she's awesomely sweet. She's a lover of pink. She has more jewelry than you can shake a stick at and is now my new go-to person for when I need to find just the right accessory for an outfit. Although she's been in Second Life for many years, she still loves it and we both still make noob mistakes all of the time. She's deeply dedicated to her partner in a way that makes you think, "Awww!" and not "Ughhh."

The best thing that I discovered about Kirsten is that she's someone I feel really comfortable around, and as most people know, that's not something that happens a lot for me. I'm very glad Plurk allowed me to meet her, and I'm very happy that this meme allowed me to know her better.

What wine goes with Captain Crunch?

I don't really drink at all, but I felt like there just HAD to be wine bottles on my new Cabinet Hutch by Trompe Loeil for Collabor88. But don't ask me what wine goes with what food. I'd never be able to tell you.




SySy just released her new Rayures pants. Total love! I do so love both pinstripes and wide legged pants. The pants come in both lengths for heels and flats.

All I can think about is cereal now, so I'll go eat, and you go shop!

I love when I can put a new skin on and not have to change a thing about my shape. It's VERY VERY rare that it happens because not all skins are going to look good on me. In fact, most don't unless I tweak my shape to get it to look right. Of course, I'm tweaking my shape every week anyway. I'm definitely not in the "NEVER TOUCH MY SHAPE" crowd! So I was super happy to try on Adam n Eve's new Siobhan skin last night and feel pretty instantly - with no tweaking!




It's a different look for me, since I tend to look more like jailbait [Y que?] but I love it! The lips...oh my god, these lips! Just kissably soft! Also, if you've never tried an Adam n Eve skin before, trust me when I say the body is just as wonderful as the face!

Truth put out some new hairs a few days ago, including the aptly named Winter. I love the style of this one, but what really makes it special is the scarf! I love when hairmakers put scarves or hats or other accessories on the hairs because you all know how hard it is to have to mod stuff and try to get it to fit right! Now, if Mr. Hawks will release this hair without the scarf...
