52 Weeks - Plum!

We're into week 4 of Luna's 52 weeks of color challenge and this week's color is Plum! Well, plum translates into purple for me! I piled on the purples and while I might look like a walking grape, I think it's a super cute little look.




And I just realized that's the second photo in a row that has that floral rug from Little Boxes in it. It's cute, right?

Oh! I wanted to thank the creators that have been helping us out with this challenge by providing us with items in the week's color. This week Rayvn Hines from Mudhoney colored one of her new Prestige Medallion chairs in Plum, and I LOVE this chair. You all need it, it's got some nice poses!

Next week's color is Sepia. Brown? Tan? Well, we'll see. :)

52 Weeks - Goldenrod!

I'm not really big on gold. I prefer silver and I think it takes a certain skin tone to wear gold or yellow and do it well. So when I saw that this week's color for the 52 Weeks Color Challenge was Goldenrod, my first thought was, "I am so screwed." Well, substitute "screwed" for a harder word.




This is what I managed to come up with. It's not all goldenrod, but I think an entire goldenrod outfit would make me look like a mustard drenched hot dog, and who wants that? ;) Next week's color is Plum. I think that will be a little easier.

It's week 2 of Luna's 52 Weeks of Color blogger challenge, and this week was BLUE!




I know, I know. This is the 3rd time in a week I've used the Drew tee from Jane in an outfit, but that just goes to show how darn much I adore them. Combined with this Victoria pencil skirt from Whippet & Buck and the Dream.Booties from fri.day, and I think it's a classy little getup for this week's challenge.

Ooh, challenge! Luna Jubilee has thrown down a year long challenge - 52 Weeks Of Color! You know I can't pass up a good challenge! This week's color is GRAY!

The colors will be posted one week in advance for each post (except this beginning week of course). Each week will begin on Saturday and end on Friday.
