Fission just released the new Set Free dress, and it's so cute! There is a serious lack of boho chic/hippie chic mesh clothing in SL, so I was super happy to get this dress. It's all kinds of my style!

Elephante Poses and YumYums have paired up for the Sweet Nothing pose pack at the Pose Fair. There are 8 lovely poses in the pack, and a dandelion prop! I turned the dandelion around in my hand so the fluff blew away from me.

I wore the Elyse hair by Truth in my post yesterday, but I had to wear it again today because it is so so me! I wear side braids quite a bit, and with the color change headband, I'm in heaven! I picked a daisy to attach to my headband for this picture, it doesn't come on the band.

Some Beach, Somewhere

Our beach vacation is over and we're heading home today. I'm so going to miss this place! But at least I got in one more morning walk along the beach.




Mutresse is at FaMESHed this month and I'm loving the Nadya tank top and Guzia shorts! The top comes in 2 options so that if you wear the shorts, the belt of the shorts won't clip the top, which is awesome. And like other Mutresse products, both items come with handy color change HUDs so you can customize your look.

Maxi Gossamer is also at FaMESHed and how beach perfect are the Bali Gypsy bare foot sandals and necklace, I ask you? I haven't put on shoes in at least 2 days because I just want my feet to be all jeweled up and pretty. You DO need the SLink flat bare feet for these, so if you're still in janky system feet, then your feet can't be as jeweled up and pretty as mine today.

Keep Shining Through

I wasn't planning on blogging this outfit because it was just a random "I'm wearing clothes" outfit. But Ulaa stopped by to sit on my swingset last night with me and as soon as she came over, she commented on how cute my outfit was. Well, heck. I can't let an outfit go to waste if I've somehow managed to look cute!




Fishy Strawberry is at FaMESHed with this cool Knit Bomber jacket. It's layered with the buttoned shirt and then the smaller t-shirt. I love layers! The awesome part is that there is a HUD included so you can change the colors of both the t-shirt and the buttoned shirt. Yay for options!

I don't think I've ever blogged Elephante Poses before but I'm loving the Odette poses they have out at The Surreal Complex! They're static poses, but still manage to look very active.

I still can't figure out if this photo makes me look sad, confused, or like I have a headache. You decide!




I've been wearing nail polishes from Hello Dave quite a bit in the past few months. The polishes are always gorgeous and come in almost every color you can think of. The latest High Gloss release is fantastic! You know you need new colors for your SLink fingers and toes! Hello Dave is only on the Marketplace, so it's truly easy to shop for your goodies.

I wore some of the Ascend jewelry by Cae for FaMESHed in a previous post, but I didn't get to show off the ring, which is actually my favorite piece from the set. I just love rings, but so many don't resize right for the SLink hands, and Cae's rings always do. The jewelry comes with a HUD so you can change the metal and the jewel colors, and also resize.

Happy New Year's Eve, my friends! This is my last post of 2013 in this blog, and I have stuff to say!




I wanted to say an enormous THANK YOU to all the SL creators who allowed me to blog for them this past year. Clothes, hair, shoes, poses, and home decor - plus everything in between - you all are the the reason why Second Life remains amazing year after year. You guys keep us looking good, posing pretty, and keep our houses looking more gorgeous than anything we could have ever hoped for. It's been a true honor this past year to use your creations and I am so looking forward to what you guys come up with in 2014!

And to my readers - thank you. Every time I post something and someone favorites a pic on flickr or IMs me to say "I saw what you showed and had to go buy it!" I seriously feel proud. What I do is not as big as what the creators of SL do, but I'm happy when you guys take the time to let me know that you like what I do. If bloggers didn't have readers, we'd have nothing. ♥

Bubblegum Alley is a new event for kids and families and it's very cute! I picked up some great home decor there from Pixel Fusion and new-to-me store Noble. I'm always thrilled to find new-to-me stores, and this event was full of them! This round of Bubblegum Alley runs until the 26th, so hop on over and check it out!

Fri.day released some fantastic boots for Shoetopia. The River.Boots are lace-ups with a great wedge. They come in several colors, and if you buy the Dotty color at the event, 100% of the money goes to Soles4Souls.

Just Take Your Time

I do a lot of inventory cleaning on an almost daily basis. Not a lot, obviously, since my inventory is still pretty massive. But I throw away things pretty much daily as I come across them. A lot of the time, this does mean I'm throwing out something that was made before August 2011 when mesh came out. However, sometimes I find just the right old [vintage?] item deep in my inventory and I feel like it pulls my look totally together.




I really like the new Band Jackets from Cracked Mirror for FaMESHed this month. Being a former band nerd myself, of course the first thing I think of when I think of band jackets is the letter jacket that I wore almost daily, but these are more like uniform jackets. Quite structured, very classic. These come with a short "shirt" inside, and I kind of wish they had a no shirt option to pair up with a longer belly covering shirt, but I do like this a lot.

The vintage item I found that I felt really went with my whole look was the Ginger boots from Shiny Things. They are from 2010 [very old in SL years!] and just sculpts, but I don't think they look dated at ALL. *sighs* I miss Shiny Things. The store is still up if you want to shop there, though.

By the way, have you been to The Garden yet? If you haven't, you need to go. I'm standing in the Bozeman Barn by Barnesworth Anubis and is it ever awesome! Big rooms and sliding doors and this fantastic two sided fireplace. It would be great for a winter sim!

I'm not the biggest fan of November, but I'm happy that it's the beginning of the month because that means it's time for a new round of FaMESHed!




Emery has this really cool Los Angeles Cardigan this round, and when I first saw the vendor ad, I thought, "Mmm...that might not be quite my style." But I was totally wrong because when I put it on, I fell in love with it. It comes in the full version with the cardigan and shirt like I'm wearing here, a version with the shirt tucked in, and then just the cardigan alone. Options!

Mutresse proves that shorts are not just for the summer with the Lana shorts for FaMESHed. These are fantastic! And of course there is the great HUD to change textures on the shorts. I'm just wearing them in the plain grey, but they are really very customizable!

There's a big new Coldlogic release today! Lots of goodies just perfect for this time of the year!




I just adore the new Hedley tops! It's a great knit cardigan with three-quarter sleeves and a fun fringe. You can wear it with or without the tank top. I think it goes perfectly with the Seyfried jeggings. The awesome part about the jeggings is that they come with 3 different cuffs, so they are a little easier to pair under boots.

I wasn't aware of Atelier Visconti until the Home Expo in May, but they're turning into one of my faves! I love the Etienne outdoor set. It's just so pretty and really goes in any setting, from a green grassy forest to a sunny beach.

When I saw the new Bounty skirts from Cracked Mirror for FaMESHed, I just squealed in delight! Matched with the new Layered Tanks, they make the perfect casual summer outfit!

Also at FaMESHed, Maxi Gossamer has some awesome new jewelry for us, like the Aphrodite's Dream necklaces and bangles. The necklaces come in different versions, and both come with different metals and the ability to change the color of the stones.

Your Dream Will Be My Dream

I don't wear a lot of fancy gowns in SL. I'm pretty casual most of the time and we don't have the time to go to fancy dance places often. But oh, when Evangeline Miles has a new gown out...honey, I will MAKE an occasion to wear it.




Fantasy Faire 2013 starts this Saturday and naturally Evie's Closet is there! I'm wearing the Kie Spring Fantasy gown in Magnolia and it seriously makes me want to get married all over again. Although there is a pink tint to it in my photo [unintentionally], this gown is more of an off white. It's part mesh, part flexi, and the combo is awesome! Evie's Closet will be on the Magnificat sim at the fair.

If you haven't been to Collabor88 yet, you need to get on it. I am totally in love with Titania's Filigree Heart necklace from Maxi Gossamer! It comes in both gold and silver metals, two different lengths, and the heart is color change. I went with turquoise because I like turquoise. Do I need a better reason? :)

Suddenly Last Summer

I spent Saturday afternoon reading a free novel on my Kindle and the main girl in the book was a this rich girl who had some of the most amazing outfits. Later I found out the author is big into Polyvore, which explains it. But in the book, this beautiful girl with the amazing outfits has to face kidnapping and being put into hiding. As I was getting my outfit together, I kept thinking about her. I think she would have liked this. Hopefully you do, too!

I Get Too Hungry For Dinner At Eight

My dear forever sister, Rylan Carling, decided to hang up her hat as far as SL fashion blogging goes today. I'm sad, because Rylan has definitely been one of my fashion inspirations for many years now, but I also know that she has so many amazing things that are going to be happening in her offline life. So as much as I want to be selfish and tell her to keep doing it, I am happy for her for so many other reasons. While I was doing my photo tonight, I thought about her. The lighting in the picture reminded me of one she did for my husband and me last year, so Ry, this post is dedicated to you! ILY!!!




Alice Project has been doing the Advent gift giving over on Mint Tulip this month and it's been great! Plus, if you miss any of the gifts, Alice has helpfully put them on the wall for the low low price of $50L each. I combined the Bonnie bangs from today's gift with the Clarissa hair from a previous gift. Since the bangs are not rigged, it was no problem moving them around to fit the hair. I have kind of a fivehead, so I almost always need bangs!

Coldlogic put out the cutest party dresses last week! I'm wearing Merry in Emerald since it IS the Pantone color of 2013! I just love this dress. It's a simple, classy party dress and, as you all KNOW I love, you can dress it up and down in many ways.
