Digging For Gold

So this tiny little event started this week. I don't know if you've heard of it. I believe it's called... THE ARCADE. Okay, so you basically have to be living under the biggest rock in the deepest cave in the most remote part of Antarctica to not know about The Arcade! Second Spaces is out there with the cuuuutest decor set! It's called Flea Market Finds, but I thought it looked like stuff you might find in the attic of your grandma's house!








There are 11 pieces to collect, 2 rares [the bingo set and the cigar boxes], and it's $75L a play. Second Spaces is my favorite place for "clutter" stuff in SL, and I know I'll find places in my house for every single piece of this set.

A Little Wanderlust

So much going on lately, so let's jump right on in!




I have been SO into the new dresses that Coldlogic released this week! The McKay might be my favorite of the new releases because it's just so loose and pretty! I love that the print on the dress kind of reminds me of watercolored pictures, too.

The Liaison Collaborative opened up last week and how cute is my pose from Le Poppycock? This one I'm doing is called Wanderlust and comes with the balloons. It's part of the Chasing Dreams gacha at TLC.

Fri.day just released the new Zoe heels and I'm loving the chunky heel look that seems to be trending for fall!




Hurry on to Fri.day if you want to get the Zoe heels because they're 50% off for 48 hours! Woo! These are for the Slink high feet. Btw, did you know there's a free ankle lock at Slink now? Comes in SUPER freakin' handy when you're wearing the high and medium feet because those tend to "break" the ankle in a lot of poses and it looks bad.

Bought A Ticket To The West Coast

Guess what? The Arcade is starting this weekend! Squee! Every round, I tell myself "Okay. You CANNOT want everything." But then every round, I tell myself to shut up because there's always cute stuff.




What Next has us On The Move at The Arcade with some great wearable, rideable toys! I'm riding the Candy Skateboard. There are cool things like scooters, pogo sticks, and cars, too! Each play is $50L and there are 9 commons and 5 rares.

Sakura is an awesome hair that you can get in two different styles, the two curly poofs like I'm wearing, or one that just has the curly on one side. All of them come with detachable flowers and either Bears, Kokeshi Dolls or Sushi. I'm wearing sushi in my hair because I think it's super cute! It is $50L per play with 16 to collect, 4 rare.

The designers participating are contributing 50% of all their proceeds to PFLAG, so come on down and play, do a good deed, and get some great stuff! Events events events!! I LOVE THEM. :-p I don't love Halloween that much, to be honest, but I do appreciate some Halloween themed items and events that are in Second Life.




The Halloween Gacha event is open! It's a small event but there are some really cute things to be found there! Like the Halloween Cookies poses and props from Status! I'm carrying the rare cookie box.

G Field has this super cute Vivian Halloween dress out in their store and...AND...it's free!! I love free and I love this dress.

The Costume Ball is another Halloween themed event that has some really nice things, like the Christy hair from Wasabi Pills! It's an adorable ponytail with a bow. The bow comes with a HUD so you can change the color.

Let's Play At The Arcade!

Unless you've been living under a prim boulder, you've heard that The Arcade started last night! A big gacha festival, it's been a much anticipated event!! It's the weekend and I don't have time to talk much, but please remember that as with any big event, EXPECT LAG. Don't start yelling at people, you're not the Lag Police. But please make it easier for you and everyone else by removing any unnecessary scripted attachments and any ridiculous outfits. You don't need to wear your big flexi ball gown or carry weapons. No one cares what YOU look like, they're just there to have fun and shop. :) Also, for the easiest shopping? Check out The Arcade Tumblr because it has the direct link to each machine. Yay!

Funky Autumn Gatcha At The Nest!

Do you like gatcha? I bet you do! The Nest is having a big 4 day Guising & Gatcha party starting tomorrow! Guising is the same as trick or treating, for those who are not familiar with the term. [I wasn't.] The Guising items are only $5L!! What a treat! Lots of great home & garden designers are participating, including my favorite - Funky Junk!




Seven new items for the fall season! It's all cute cute cute and only $40L a play! The fireplace with the pumpkins spilling out and the blocks & candle on top is the rare item, and you will want it! Especially if you like to decorate for the season as much as I do!! Be sure you stop by Funky Junk at The Nest for Guising because the item matches the gatcha items, although I don't have it shown here. Guess you'll just have to go to check it out, huh? :)

The Nest Guising & Gatcha event begins on Friday October 28th and lasts until October 31st, and you won't want to miss it!!

Going Back

School starts back here in my area tomorrow. I'm a huge fan of back to school stuff! New clothes, new school supplies, the works! Of course, I'm not in school anymore, but I can still look the part!




I totally fell in love with this little Lace Heart Cropped Top from Emery, out right now at The Dressing Room Blue.  And the Lavender hair I picked up from fri.day for Fifty Linden Friday is sooo cute!  A "tiny bird" said there's a new hair designer at fri.day, so I guess we can expect more goodies soon!  Oh, and I could not resist these mouth pencils from Naminoke that I picked up at the Gacha Festival!  I don't usually like things hanging off my mouth, but these are cute and who doesn't put a pencil in their mouth sometimes?

For Moody Monday, my favorite pose store, aDORKable Poses, has the Learning Curve desk set.  The desk & chair are color change, and there are 5 poses for the prop.  Love love love. For those of you who are doing the Harry Potter roleplay thing, you should totally get this!!

Trick or Treat At Hide and Seek!

Oh man, did I ever have the PLAGUE this week. But, it's passing me by and one of the best ways to get over the plague is by playing gacha! I swear! And one of my favorite sims, the Hide and Seek sim, is having a Trick or Treat Gacha event!




The hoodie and cute ghost t-shirt are both from the BOOM gacha. The hoodie is a "rare" find and the shirt is "uncommon," which means you might not get them right away. The Pink Lady pumpkin pail I'm holding is from Olive Juice, and is also a "rare" find. I love it because it's pink! In my mouth is an adorable flower basket from Awesome Blossom. I don't usually put things in my mouth [that's what she said] but this was too cute not to. And on my shoulder is devilish Lucikat from ANA_Mations. I love kitties, even devil kitties!
