I'm talking loud, not saying much.

Happy Saturday, everyone! Ooh, there's so much new, let's hurry and get started!

Style - I'm talking loud, not saying much

Collabor88 starts tomorrow, and check out the Davenport mesh tops from The Sea Hole! The theme for this month's event is Pink Flamingos. "Pink Flamingos" - A colorcentric Theme summed up in the non mainstream cinematic expoits of John waters, Plastic kitschyness and General Deviance. It's going to be FUN!

Mr. Truth put out new hair last night, and I am totally in love with the new Mayim updo! Have you checked out Truth's new color fades pack? I'm very into the whole idea of dip dyed hair or colorful pieces [having made part of my RL hair pink recently!] so the new colors make me very happy!

And last but not least, the new Equestrian boots at Gos are just so...well, no words! I just can't stop looking at my feet! Long and lean boots with a lovely stiletto heel? I can't think of anything better for my feet this season! As most of you know, Gospel's dear kitty was recently in an accident and after receiving so much support, the very classy Mr. Voom has decided to raise money for the PDSA - The People's Dispensary for Sick Animals - by creating a special edition of each new release. You can read all about it on his blog. :)

Do you want to shop yet? C'mon, let's go!

Go Go Godzilla!

I've been feeling a little like Godzilla lately. I stomp around and growl! But, it happens, and today I'm a little less stompy and growly with the new release for Truth District that The Sea Hole put out!

Style - Go Go Godzilla!

The new Zilla dress is just whimsical and cute! A simple mesh dress, the fun of this one comes from the print at the bottom of Godzilla attacking a city! Too adorable!

Do you like Maitreya discounts? Me too! And if you're in their VIP group, head over to the store and pick up these Radical boots at a great discount! They are mesh, but I'm sure I didn't need to tell you all that. There are some free mesh lashes and a free mesh skirt there as well, so don't forget to get those.

Stomping off now!

You make me wanna...

The lingerie challenge is over, but that doesn't mean I have to put my clothes back on, does it? It does? Well...how about just half way?

Style - You Make Me Wanna...

At the Festival of Sin, Elymode has these awesome Lussuria sheer tanks, skirts, and stockings! The skirts have the crotch panel, and you can choose the regular prim version or the part mesh version. The part mesh one means you can edit it slightly, mostly to pull it down in the back. At least, I always end up having to pull them down in these kinds of skirts. My butt is high or something.

GOS came out with these awesome Triumph boots for the Festival, and women were lined up outside his stall before the Festival even fully opened just to get these boots! [And to see Mr. Voom himself!] They are mesh boots but come in two pieces. You get a choice to wear the leg part up like I have it her, or rolled down to show in the inner lining. Or you could always wear just the foot part under some wide legged jeans.

Oh! Let me tell you about this skybox I took my pic in today! Trompe Loeil came out with the Ka'u Beach House skybox and it's AMAZING! It's mesh and it's like a beach house at night, with everything you'd really need right in the box, down to the waves and the moon! Seriously fantastic!

Okay, written enough! :)

Ready For A Fall

Do you ever just stumble upon something and you almost scream with delight because it was JUST what you were looking for, even though you didn't quite know it? That happened to me today! I was actually on the hunt for lingerie to wear with my new Flutter boots from Lassitude & Ennui for the upcoming Back To Black event. In kind of desperation, even though I knew they wouldn't have it, I went to BoHo HoBo. And then I saw it. A Necktie Skirt!!!!

Style - Ready for a fall

I just fell in love at ONCE. Then, borrowing from my fashion inspiration Aria Montgomery, I put the rest of my look together. It was so easy, especially with the Artilleri Make A Wish necklace and the L'espoir bag from Je Suis, both pieces also from the Back To Black event. Oh, if you get this skirt, be prepared to shrink your butt a little. It's on on the slim side and while it IS mod, I found that shrinking my butt down was easier!

Then I happened to find myself at Sopor Aeternum, a really kind of spooky and haunting place that I will DEFINITELY be going back to! It was creepy and pretty all at the same time!

Something's There

I'm in love with the Glee & Showtunes stations on Pandora lately, so I'm sorry if my next 20 posts have the title of some Broadway musical song. But this is a good one, because with all the fabulous things that are out lately, something IS there for everyone!

Style - Something's There

Collabor88 is still going strong this month and if you haven't been by yet, you neeeeed to go! You can pick up great things, like the Killiney boots from FIR & MNA. I just love these! There is a pair for men as well, and these are MESH boots.

Speaking of Collabor88, there is a lot of good furniture out there this time around, like the Deetz Fireplace set from Cheeky Pea and the Patchwork & Pipes bed from Kari. I love that the curtains and rug from the Soft Exposure living room set from Barnesworth Anubis that we found at last month's Collabor88 work perfectly! I am also totally in love with The Snowy Cabin artwork on the wall from Funky Junk. The snow really falls! You can find it at the Funky Junk mainstore location, or at The Nest. It's no copy, so great for transferring for gifts!

And hello? Do you see my hair? It's a new MESH hair from Wasabi Pills called Cherry. It's so thick and lush and it's nice that it doesn't dig into my chest. You can't see it here, but in the back, there's a low ponytail. I wish I had this much thick hair in RL!

Have I talked your ear off? Are you ready to shop? Go now!

Once Upon A December

We recently set up our winter park on the island, and I'm so happy with it, I want to be outside all the time! Luckily for me, there are warm things to wear because I just can't be out in the snow without proper clothing!

Style - Once Upon A December

I happened upon new-to-me store Severed Garden last night while browsing marketplace. I hopped on over to the mainstore and fell in LOVE with the Dana boots and the Priska hat and hair! These are no modify items, which I know might turn some of you off, but there are convenient little HUDs to change the colors of your boots and socks, hat and hair. My only real complaint is that I would like to be able to resize the boots separate of the socks, but I managed to make them fit and they are fairly inexpensive, so it all works out!

Pose store STaTus is participating in the Royal Living Magazine Snowman Hunt and fitting to the title, they've put out this cute Snowman Lover. There are 10 poses in the snowman, and who doesn't love poses and snowmen, am I right? This is a PAY hunt, and each hunt item costs $45L. But I'm sure multiple blogs will have all the items, so you can pick and choose what you want.

I'm off to play in the snow some more!

Rockin Around The Christmas Tree

Now that it's after Thanksgiving, it's time to start decorating for Christmas!! And I started by decorating my feet with these awesome new boots from Gos!

Style - Rockin Around The Christmas Tree

The new Aviator Amelia boots are so very very perfect for the upcoming winter months! As you would expect from Gos, the boots are amazingly sculpted and the texturing is fantastic. There are 5 colors of boot, and with a single purchase you get 5 colors of socks. But if you fatpack them [and why wouldn't you?], then you get 16 sock colors! You can also choose to hide the socks if you prefer. The boots also are scripted to have a Loose or Tight fit, as shown below.

Style - Gos Amelia Boots

Run to Gos and get these boots! And in case you were wondering, there is a matching pair of boots for the guys called Yeager! Go now!

The New Convert

My husband, Aldwyn, isn't as much of a clothes horse as I am. He likes shopping [that's why I married him!] but he never quite finds anything he really gets excited to buy as far as clothing goes. When I started wearing mesh, I have a feeling he thought I was crazy nuts. In fact, I had to stomp around a bit to even get him to use a mesh viewer so he could see me in my fabulousness. But we took a little trip tonight to Hoorenbeek, and well...

Style - The New Convert

Welcome to the mesh club, baby!

He really got happy for the new Classic Jeans and so did I because, WOW! They look so GOOD on him! He didn't have to change his shape even one point! The jeans come with 8 styles of belts, too! He paired them up with Corduroy Jacket that comes with the mesh shirt. There are 3 colors of shirts with the jacket, so that's awesome! Both the jacket and the jeans come in 3 sizes, and the jeans have both low and high rises.

With my new mesh Cairo boots and mesh Lyn Cardigan from Celoe, we're a mesh-tastic couple!

Mens' clothing creators? Your mission is clear. More mesh! The guys want to shop!

Let's Take A Walk

The weather here has been awesome lately, and it makes me want to go on long walks to see what I can see. But mostly I just want to walk around in my new Portas Booties!!

Style - Let's take a walk

From AnE Meshworks, an Adam n Eve brand, these little booties are short, cute, and in the most soft lickable leather I've seen in ages! They ARE mesh, so you know the drill. Get a mesh viewer or GTFO. :-p I kid, I kid!! But seriously, you need a mesh viewer to see these boots properly.

I'm standing in the Cascadia Autumn Pavilion from Funky Junk, on sale this weekend for Spruce Up Your Space. It's the perfect autumn decor for your land!

Time to take my boots and go walking!

You can stand under my umbrella

I'm not a huge fan of rain, but after this past summer where even the smallest rain shower would have been a blessing, I've come to at least tolerate when the storms roll in. Of course, maybe if I had some cute Wellingtons, like these from Gos, I wouldn't mind running out in the rain!

Style - You Can Stand Under My Umbrella

The new Wellingtons are a MESH item, so you will need a mesh compatible viewer to see them properly. [Honestly, if you're STILL kicking it in a vintage viewer and your only excuse is "I don't want to learn viewer 2," then you're missing out!!] The Wellingtons come in several colors, and if you fatpack, you can make your own color combos like I did here with the pumpkin colored boot and the black trims. I'm wearing the rigged mesh version, meaning it moves with my AO and comes in 3 sizes. The non-rigged versions work as traditional prim boots would and are able to be resized via the menu. If you choose to wear the rigged mesh boots be sure to try on all three sizes to find the best fit before running and yelling at Gospel the way I did. :-p I'm wearing the Tall size. If you're bigger than I am, either shrink yourself or wear the non-rigged ones that you can resize.

Time for more puddle jumping!

This Time I'm Not Leaving Without You

I don't know what it is about boots that just make me want to line dance and drink beer. Even when the boots aren't necessarily western style, I still feel it. Must be the Texas girl in me!

Style - This Time I'm Not Leaving Without You

SLink just released new mesh boots! The Astrid ankle boots are just...well, look at them. They're fab! They come in 16 colors, and if you fatpack you are able to mix and match the boot and the strap colors. Now while these boots ARE mesh, they're not rigged and are able to be resized via the HUD. Awesome!

Mesh hair isn't very common yet, and I haven't really had a chance to play with any, so the new Aria mesh hair from Wasabi Pills was fun to wear! It moves quite well in some poses [not all, but that could be said for anything, mesh or sculpty or primmy] and it's just really sweet looking. This hair would probably look better on someone else, though, since my head is weird shaped and I can't wear sleek styles. But it's so pretty, I couldn't help myself! Of course, the main problem with mesh hair is not being able to really edit it. But we're still in the very early days of mesh, so who knows what will happen in the future?

Okay, enough talk. Time to shop!

Let's Get Lost

Truly TRULY getting spoiled by mesh boots lately! I will never be able to wear another over the knee boot that is not mesh again!! Check out the new mesh boots from Lassitude & Ennui!

Style - Let's Get Lost

The new Overknee boots are just marvelous!  And believe it or not, these babies actually fit me out of the box!  You can't see it in the photo, but the boots dip into a V cut in the back. Very hot!  I'm wearing them in Snakeskin, and there's a gorgeous Embossed print as well, and several colors to choose from.  You know what I love more than these boots?  Long established brands in Second Life that don't just rest on their laurels and who keep current with their skills.  Lassitude & Ennui, big major kudos to you! I can't wait to see what you come out with next!

I Ain't Sayin' She's A Golddigger

Yes yes! More mesh goodness! I know, I said the blog wouldn't be all mesh all the time, but oh you guys. I just can't seem to help myself!! Check out this sexy number from Ten Fifteen!

Style - I Ain't Sayin She's A Golddigger

The Natalia dress is a super sexy dress that is so very perfect if you love going to parties and clubs.  With a deep plunging neckline and a low cut back, you get the advantage of showing off lots of skin without giving everything away.

And I had to pair this up with the new mesh Tall Leather Thigh Boots from SLink because...well, look at them. LOVE.

Go shopping!

That's How I Became Head Girl

So I'll admit, wizarding school wasn't easy! I mean, all those potions to learn and waving a wand around and it would have been dead easy to gain a billion pounds with all the crap we eat. But then I was announced as Head Girl! Gee...I wonder how that happened.

Style - That's How I Became Head Girl

SLink just came out with some new mesh boots!!  I have always loved thigh high boots in SL, but I've rarely worn them since either you're stuck with texture boots, or the prims get all crazy when you try to bend your leg.  But with mesh...oh baby!  These are the first boots that have ever made me want to pose naked with them, and that is saying a LOT because I don't feel comfortable posing naked pretty much anywhere!  The boots come in several colors [including pink!!] and there are four sizes to choose from, but be aware that they tend to run a little on the small side.  I'm wearing the "Curvy" size and I did have to scale my legs down a bit to wear them, since the "Plus" sized ones, the largest in the pack, were a little TOO plus for my liking.  But they're so worth making my legs a little thinner for, because I can't stop strutting around in them!

Go to SLink!!

Oh, PS: I'm just making up stories. I'm not affiliated with any of the wizard RP things that are around. :)

Secret Agent Girl

I feel like a secret agent, ducking into back alleys, waiting to find out some great lead. Well, here's a great lead for you - there's newness at Gos, Jane, and Truth!

Style - Secret Agent Girl

Check out these boots! The new Curvaceous boots by Gos are just oh so sensational! I'm wearing them in the black suede with the chunky heel, but there are loads - LOADS - of options! Colors, textures, even heel options! I could have worn them with the great wedge, or the sexy stiletto. Believe me, it was hard to figure out just which heel I wanted! You're also able to use a very easy menu to adjust your boots to get just the right fit for you. These boots do NOT come with an invisprim, so you need to be able to use the alpha layer for them. But who uses invisiprims anyway, right? ;)

I know, I just did a Jane post a few days ago, but when I saw her new goodies, I had to skip right over to get them! The Convict Jacket and matching Convict Sweater were too good to pass up! The best part of Jane clothing? Soooo versatile and you're able to mix and match easily. I'm in love with the long lines of the jacket and the striped sweater is so cute with just jeans and some sneakers. You must go!

And from hair machine extraordinaire Truth comes the Tegan 2 hair and hat combo. I am a SUCKER for a good hat and there really are just not enough hats that come with amazing hair out there on the grid. Luckily for us, Truth has started making some hat hair, and I am so happy about that! You should also get the Tegan hair that is without the hat. Same style, no hat, and a cute chunky braid pinned to the side.

This is Secret Agent Alicia, signing off to go on the hunt for more goodness!

Bundle Up

I haven't been in Second Life much the past week, but if there was one thing that was going to get me to run right in today, it was the fact that there is adorable newness at Jane!

Style - Bundle Up

The Melody dress is a sweet, babydoll style dress with little buttons on the front. My SL guy gave me My So Called Life for our anniversary yesterday [hi babe!] and I know that Angela Chase would have felt very at home in this cute little dress as she was running around with Rayanne.

To go with this dress, you HAVE to get the Melody cardigan. HAVE. TO. If you love little cardigans like I do, you're going to want these in your inventory, whether you get the dress or not.

Today for Sheer Madness at Jane, you can get the fatpack of the Lil Piggies Striped Tights for the awesome price of $50L. 31 colors of cute tights for $50L?? Sign me up!

I can't seem to take off the Yolanda 2 hair from Truth. It's so cute, I want to sit and play with my hair all day. Truth has also been doing this cool thing lately with his longer styles where the hair is done in split attachments. Makes adjusting it soooo much easier!

And because I simply can't take them off either, I'm wearing the SLink Heidi Rainboots from the Extend A Helping Hand event. They have a darling little frog peeking out! It's like you have a friend! 100% of the proceeds from these boots, and many other things at the event, go to help the Queenslanders who were affected by the awful flooding. Cute boots and helping out - that seems like a fair deal to me.

Grant Me Absolution

I need forgiveness. I made a promise to myself that I would not do much shopping until I was back under a certain number in my inventory. But, I wandered into Absolution last night and... well, you know.

Style - Grant Me Absolution

The pretty Joss sweater is just my style! It's off the shoulders and has the long sleeves with the glove extender that takes the sleeves just a little past the wrists. Love!

And the cutie patootie Bowdorable boots! I want them all, because they're tooooo cute. The bow is color change, so you can match to many outfits.

On second thought, I don't need forgiveness, because I'm totally not sorry I bought any of this. :-p

Take a look, it's in a book...

READING RAINBOW!! Oh c'mon, you know that song. :)

I love to read. I've been reading since I was 3, and my room is filled with books. Once I find a story I like, I can read it over and over again. And this adorable sweater from Nyte n Day is like a book - because I know I'll wear it often!

Style - It's In A Book

The Dote sweater from Nyte n Day makes me so happy. It's a short sleeved sweater, so I'll be able to take it into the spring. But since it's cold, I put the cream colored Drew shirt from Jane underneath it. I have said it many times, but I love these Drew shirts. I wear them very very often, either alone or with something.

Oh, did I mention that the Dote sweater comes with these most precious boots??? I love them so much! I don't normally like this style, but I think these have changed my mind.

Scoot off now. Go shop or go read a book. ♥

Christmas Wishes

I hope everyone is having a terrific holiday season! There's a good chance this is my last style post of the year since I've been so busy and slow to post. But if it is, I can't think of a better way to end 2010 than sitting in a pretty photoble, with a cute outfit and adorable boots on! It's the stuff that Christmas wishes are made of, don't you think?

Style - Christmas Wishes

From E! Eclectic Apparel comes this very cute and simple Risque Business dress. I am a big fan of E! because of the simplicity of most of the clothing. It's so incredibly easy to mix and match! I paired up this dress with the new Buttoned Corset, also by E!

The colors matched the argyle print of my new Festive Slouch Boots by Gos. These are GREAT! I've been wearing the regular Slouch Boots a lot recently, but these come with 4 great colors/prints - red tartan, green argyle, shiny silver and gold - that will take you all through the holiday season. And since you can mix and match colors of the boots and straps, the options are amazing.

I took this picture in the Dear Santa photoble by Mudhoney. It's amazingly darling, and if you could see the whole thing in this picture, you'd be thrilled. There are several different poses to sit in the chair or around the tree. Rayvn does wonderful work, and I do so love photobles because they make taking pictures very easy!

If I don't post again in here for 2010, everyone have a wonderful Christmas [if you celebrate it] and a joyous and safe New Year!!

Blinded By The Light

My boyfriend was singing this song as I was fixing the picture for this post, so that's where I got the title. I'm not actually blinded by the light. Unless it's facelights. But you know, no one should use those.

ANYWAY. Check out my amazing new Slouch Boots from Gos!

Style - Blinded By The Light

Checkety check it! The boots are totally adorable and of course the great quality that you expect from Gos. The boots are loaded with features, and I really really suggest just getting the fatpack so that you can have all 10 beautiful colors in your boots. Because really? You'll keep going back to buy colors if you don't. Trust me!

Go shopping!
