Throwback

Nothing particularly new to show you today, so we're calling this my Throwback Thursday look. :) I think sometimes it's a great idea to dig into our old outfits and pull things out. We get so obsessed with having, and showing, the newest of the new that we forget our old stuff sometimes is perfect!

But I'm a skating girl today because it's my nephew Raven's BirthRezday party tonight! Happy BirthRez Day, Raven! Can't wait for your party!!

It's Bright, Baby!

Tomorrow is awesome! One, I'm going away for a girls' night AWAY with my bestie! It's the first time we've had to drive away from home in a long time! Two, August starts and it's my birthday month! And three, FaMESHed opens for its August round!!




I'm so very in love with the new outfit from Mutresse for FaMESHed! The Lili sheer blouse and skirt is just so... ahhh! You can wear the skirt and blouse separately, and there are even sleeves that can be attached. And the BEST part of all is that there is a HUD with all kinds of colors and patterns for the individual pieces! Love love LOVE!

Wasabi Pills will be at FaMESHed this month with the new Sarah hair. I love braids and I love long hair, so you know I am ALL over this hairstyle!

Also at FaMESHed is this fabulous Falling Palm Suite from Eleventh Hour. Okay, can we just pause for a minute and pay our respects to how fabulous mesh items are? Yes, they look good, as is very obvious by this awesome set, but the land impact, y'all! The land impact! For the entire set - bed, tables, bench, fans, and the coconuts and straws you can't really see behind me ... 21 land impact. Can you believe it?? You can have your bedroom decked out with this great set for 21 land impact and still have room left over for more stuff!

Well, I'm off to pack. You guys should take a nap so you can get to FaMESHed when it opens at midnight!

Your Dream Will Be My Dream

I don't wear a lot of fancy gowns in SL. I'm pretty casual most of the time and we don't have the time to go to fancy dance places often. But oh, when Evangeline Miles has a new gown out...honey, I will MAKE an occasion to wear it.




Fantasy Faire 2013 starts this Saturday and naturally Evie's Closet is there! I'm wearing the Kie Spring Fantasy gown in Magnolia and it seriously makes me want to get married all over again. Although there is a pink tint to it in my photo [unintentionally], this gown is more of an off white. It's part mesh, part flexi, and the combo is awesome! Evie's Closet will be on the Magnificat sim at the fair.

If you haven't been to Collabor88 yet, you need to get on it. I am totally in love with Titania's Filigree Heart necklace from Maxi Gossamer! It comes in both gold and silver metals, two different lengths, and the heart is color change. I went with turquoise because I like turquoise. Do I need a better reason? :)

Suddenly Last Summer

I know, I know. We JUST got to spring and already I'm thinking about summer?? I can't help it! I'm a total summer girl! When I tried on the new Nox jumper in Candy from Coldlogic yesterday, I immediately thought, "Oh, that's a summer vacation outfit right there."

It's Time To Begin

The first day of Spring is rapidly approaching, and I am thrilled! I love the start of new seasons, but spring is a special favorite because it is such a rebirth of life. In my opinion, of course. :) And I'm also just so happy with all the lovely spring clothes that are hitting the grid!




Gos Boutique's new Lolita espadrilles are ridiculously cute and so very very perfect for spring! If you remember, Gos had espadrilles years ago, but these ones look even MORE amazing because they are mesh and have the foot & sheath so that it fits a LOT better than the old ones did. The espadrilles also use the Colour+ system, meaning that if you buy one pair in blue and later buy one pair in red, you can mix and match the colors of the ribbon, seam, toecap, and laces using the included HUD. I'm only wearing mine in Dusk Blue, but I had a ball mixing up all the colors to get a bright and cheerful look! These shoes are exclusive to The Boutique currently.

OneBadPixel released some new items recently, including these fab Cuffed Denim shorts, which I'm wearing in a floral print. I had a pair almost exactly like this in RL when I was younger! These shorts fit SO well, too! Sometimes mesh shorts tend to give me a really super huge bubble butt or cut off weirdly, but these are perfect!

Drift is one of those stores where every time they come out with something new, I just get super happy! I'm wearing the new Hangover tank, which is just a cute strappy tank that has removable ruffles at the bottom. I'm not wearing the ruffles today because I was just thrilled to death to find a short mesh tank, but the awesome part is that you can change the colors of both the ruffles and the tank separately. How much do you love options like that??

Sweet Blossoms

I am so happy that spring is coming! And along with spring, The Liaison Collaborative is kicking off with The Boutique! The Boutique is an almost month long event with over 25 amazing designers participating. Any time I can do one stop shopping, I'm happy!

Good News In A Text!

Oh my goodness! What's this text? It says that the With Love Hunt starts on November 30th! That's great news!!




This is the third year of the hunt, presented by CHIC Management, and let me tell you guys - it's ALWAYS great. I am not very much into hunts, especially hunts where you have to pay for the item, but these items are WELL worth the 10L price tag! Other bloggers and I will be showing you some items here during the hunt, and of course the lovely folks over at Seraphim will have a complete round-up so you will be able to pick and choose which stores you wish to go to. It's a heck of a deal because there are thousands of $Lindens worth of items, but yet even if you get every single one, you'll still pay less than $800L in total!

Happy November!

Happy November, dear readers! I hope you all had a safe and fun filled Halloween. I don't eat a lot of candy any more, so getting new Coldlogic dresses was a better treat for me!




The new Palmer sweater dress is just wonderful! I think I like that I could easily pair this with jeans or put a turtleneck underneath. You all know how I do love options with my clothes!

Truth released some great hair a few days ago, and I'm totally in love with the Josie hair. This reminds me of how my hair normally is here at home - scooped back into a messy bun, usually some some random braids here and there. If you wear any of the fades pack colors, there is the option to have a colored braid or a plain braid. I'm just wearing the plain one in this photo.

Always Another Show

As I was mentioning in a comment to another post here, I'm not much of a skin addict. I know, I know. I LIKE new skins, I love love love to go demo skins, but I'm picky and once I find a skin that is ME, I won't change for a while. But, I'm trying to branch out a little bit and find new skins, and you know I'd never lead you guys to an ugly skin that I wouldn't wear myself. So with that said, how cute is the Faith skin from PXL??




It's a little more mature than my normal younger looking face, but I think that's what I like about it! When I look at a skin, I look at it from head to toe and all the bits in between, and believe me when I say this one is just fab! This one that I'm wearing is the PXL VIP group gift, and if you're in the group [and really, you should be], you can receive 25% off of all Faith skin tones and makeups until October 27th!

Have you been to Zodiac yet? No? You need to go so you can get the Jenny strapless blouse from Pink Outfitters! It's ladylike and simple, but still sexy! I found that the top of the blouse was bigger than what I'm normally used to in a Medium size, so if you're more busty than I am, you should have no problems fitting into this!

Picture Perfect Memories

The Scorpio round of Zodiac starts tomorrow!! I adore Zodiac, I think the designers always have so much fun with it and make so many things that I just HAVE to have!




Bilo has these really lovely Hiba dresses for Zodiac. I just can never have enough casual dresses. Sometimes all you want is something pretty and simple to put on so you can look presentable without having to fuss too much. But you can most definitely dress this up with higher heels and more jewelry. I kept it simple here because that's the mood I was in.

I think the Hiba dress also goes really well with the Coffee Bean jewelry Izzie's has for FAIR! I'm not a coffee addict [anymore] but I think coffee bean jewelry is really unique and fun!

I'm a night owl. I always have been, and I think always will be. The funny part is that I'm kind of night blind and I don't go out at night a lot. I save my early evening wanderings for SL.




Stellar has come out with some great new items! The Corduroy mini skirts are just fantastic! I have been waiting for new mesh mini skirts and these fit the bill! There are matching Turtlenecks as well! The turtlenecks are a mix of texture and mesh pieces, so you don't need to worry about sizes. If you're in the Stellar VIP group, there is a free Halloween corduroy skirt waiting for you at the store!

Truth released new hair this weekend, and how amazing is the Dawson ponytail?? I'm still all kinds of excited about his new color fades, so I'm wearing this in Barbie, a mix of blonde and pink. Cute!

FAIR just opened this weekend, and the Joy skin from Lara Hurley is a total win! I've never actually worn one of her skins before [that I can remember], so this was a real joy to try on. I'm a fan now!

As much as I love the night, the morning has me working hard, so I'm off to bed.

It Was Like A Movie

Ur.Favorite.One has just the cutest things for C88 this round! The Flamingos Day cardigans and Flamingos panskirts are just fab! The cardigans have that vintage look that I just adore, and the skirts are very cute! I will say that I would like the alpha for the cardigans to be just a little longer on my arms because in certain poses my skin pokes out, but I'll mod an alpha at some point.

Yummy has a Plastic Charm Necklace for C88 that is just soooo much like the ones from the 80s!! Did you all have them? I collected charms like crazy back then. I'm just thrilled with this necklace!

If you haven't been out to see Cica Ghost's Black and White World, you need to go! I went out there last night and it was amazing! I plan on visiting often!

I'll Be Your Teenage Dream

I have always loved a short plaid skirt. Yes, they can sometimes come off as too schoolgirlish, but plaid? Never goes out of style. Plus, this outfit got a big thumbs up from the husband, so yay for that!




Eclectic Wingtips did such a fabulous job for FaMESHed this month! The Grace turtlenecks and Allure skirts are just what I've been looking for in SL lately! I went a bit more "young" with my look, but you can easily pair the turtleneck with jeans, or the skirt with tights and boots. I want all the colors now!

Fall really is the best time to head out and take photos, don't you think?




I've been trying to blog this DouceMon jacket from LeeZu for a while but SL being what it is, for some reason the main part of the jacket wouldn't rez in clearly. I ended up tossing it on the ground, which allowed the texture to rez, which then meant it cleared up on me. Oh SL, the tricks we have to learn sometimes! But it was worth it because this is just the perfect fall jacket! The sleeves are all pushed up, and there's a great patterned panel in the back that matches the lapels. Total love!

Someone mentioned the Vintage Camera by Tee*fy for The Arcade and I realized, hey, I actually got the RARE one! I just hadn't unpacked it! Did you spend a ton of money at The Arcade? I did. But - I'm STILLLLL looking for the white mesh sneakers from DECO. If anyone has a pair they're willing to sell, I'll pay twice the gacha sale amount. Or I'll trade stuff!

Let's Play At The Arcade!

Unless you've been living under a prim boulder, you've heard that The Arcade started last night! A big gacha festival, it's been a much anticipated event!! It's the weekend and I don't have time to talk much, but please remember that as with any big event, EXPECT LAG. Don't start yelling at people, you're not the Lag Police. But please make it easier for you and everyone else by removing any unnecessary scripted attachments and any ridiculous outfits. You don't need to wear your big flexi ball gown or carry weapons.
