Celebrate the New Year With Nymphetamine!

Are you looking for something fun to wear on New Year's Eve with your special someone, but you want it to be sexy too? Then you MUST get your cutie booty over to Nymphetamine and pick up this new release - Shades of Gray!

Isn't it cute? I love love love the half jacket with the matching bra. The floral texturing is just gorgeous! And you also have the option of wearing just the bra for...well, you know, the after party. ;) Shades of Gray is a steal at $250L.

Do you like my hat? If you spend $500L, at Nymphetamine between now and 9pm SLT on the 31st, you get it free! And not just this one, there are FIVE styles in the box! Plus, they're color change! Pretty sweet deal! All you have to do is send Paeoti Pomeray your transaction history of at least $500L, and she'll send you your hats. You need them for New Year's Eve, definitely!

I think I'm headed back to Nymphetamine... I need a party dress for a New Year's Eve party!

SL Daily Deals - Limited Edition At Musashi-Do!

Did you hear the news? SL Daily Deals will be having new deals every few hours for the 24th & 25th! And one of my favorite stores on the grid, Musashi-Do, is kicking off the big event with this limited edition of a dress that is honestly one of my favorite things in my inventory - Tender Blossoms.

When Tender Blossoms first came out, one of my first questions was, "Why isn't there a blue one?" Then Shiryu came up with this color, Winter Night. This...is like a little piece of heaven for me. I love Tender Blossoms because they're so so versatile. I dress mine up and down all the time!

From Midnight to 6am SLT you can pick up your own "Winter Night" Tender Blossoms for the discounted price of $169L. Normally they're $225 [and worth every single $L!] But get there as quick as you can, because there are only 200 available! It IS that limited edition! Once they're gone, they're gone, and you won't be able to get this gorgeous color again. Trust me, ladies. This is even prettier in world than it is in the picture! And it's transferable so it makes the PERFECT last minute Christmas gift!

Set your alarm for midnight so you can get down to Musashi-Do! Who knows, you might even run into me out there!

New At Truth This Week!

I'll say this about Truth Hawks - he doesn't let our heads get bored. Four new hairstyles for us this week! Including one that is more for a guy, but looks cute on a girl too.

Anise

Melody

Nela

Noah

There is also a cute group gift this week for the subscribers, a great little messenger bag. I didn't get a shot of it, but it's nice!

A color pack of Truth hair is $250L and the fatpacks are $1500L. Go get some hair!

What's in Evie's Closet today?

Do you love Evie's Closet? Me too! You need to RUN down there today to get these great dresses because... They're only $50L each!! But it's today only!

The Isabella dresses are just utterly gorgeous, as all of Evie's works are. There are 2 available, the Isabella Formal and the Isabella Ballet. Both come with wings, for all you pretty little faeries out there!

How could you possibly say no to these? The Formal has 2 skirts, and I found that the overskirt actually looks fabulous on its own using the glitch pants from the Ballet outfit. The Ballet outfit also comes with stockings and those adorable little slippers! And both outfits come with the delicate little arm bands, too. Oh, both of these are just gorgeous all the way around.

Head over to Evie's Closet now now now!!

Gift card sale at Musashi-Do!

Were you looking at my last post and thinking about going to get some of those gorgeous shirts? Well...go NOW! There's a 50% off sale on gift cards at Musashi-Do!

These are new cards, so if you've bought one or received one in the past and you still have money on it, send an IM to Shiryu Musashi so you can get the correct version.

Gift cards are the perfect gift, or buy them for yourself! :) C'mon, the holidays are coming up and you know you need some gifts for people. Pick up some cards at the Musashi-Do mainstore now!

InfiniTie for women!!

I admit it. When Shiryu Musashi of Musashi-Do came out with with the InfiniTie shirts for men with his suits a few months ago, I was jealous. I wanted shirts like that for me, too! But girly and cute, of course.

So when he mentioned he was making some for women...well, believe me, I was so so excited!! Who wouldn't want a well made shirt and the option to use the InfiniTie system? It's a no brainer to me. Check it out!

I'm not showing you ALL the colors, because I think you should go to the store and check out the rest! In the first photo, I'm showing colors from the "Classic" set, and in the second, the colors are from the "Trendy." There are 3 lengths per color, long and untucked, shorter and tucked, and short for showing the mid-riff. Each one is unbuttoned just a little to give a hint of cleavage and the cuffs are rolled up a little bit, too. Each shirt comes with a black tie, but you can use the InfiniTie system, and purchase different colored ties. [You can go to this YouTube page to see all about the InfiniTie system.] One thing I love about these shirts, and the ones for men as well, is that the tie is not just "clip-on" style. These go all the way around the neck. I had noticed this on the male shirts some time ago and just thought that was a little extra special detail. Oh, and if you don't want to wear the tie at all? Just click the collar, and it disappears. Click it again to bring it back! I have also been told that if you want a buttoned up version, the shirts for men also look wonderful on women.

The InfiniTie shirts for women are priced at $129L per color, or $499L for either the pack of the Classic or Trendy colors. The separate InfiniTies are as little as $29L per tie. As always, these are completely hand-painted, nothing is photosourced, and I think that is fabulous. And they are transferable, as most of the items at Musashi-Do are, making these perfect for gifting!

If you're looking for something for Christmas, as well, check out the pack of Christmas InfiniTie shirts for women!

Since these are transferable, I passed one over to my adorable Piper and forced her to pose with me. There are 2 InfiniTies included in this pack with a striped tie and a floral tie. The Christmas pack is just $259L, and there is also a set for men as well, if you like to match your guy.

While you're at Musashi-Do buying shirts, don't forget to wander outside and go check out the World Holidays 2009 photo exhibit! You just might see my pics out there!

The Truth is, I love hair!

Hey, guess who has new hair this week, ladies? Aw, you guessed it. It's Truth! And not only do we get 4 fab styles, but if you're in his subscribe-o-matic, you also get a pretty little dress.

But first, the hair!

Pamela

Lara

Stella

Avery

I'm really loving the crimped textures on a couple of the hairs because I was reading a fashion magazine this past week [yes, like the actual paper kind!] and they had some crimped styles. Love it!

And the group gift this week is this cute little Martini dress, in Holly. I love the sculpted bow on it!

As always, the hair packs at Truth are $250L for a color pack, and $1500L for a fatpack. Be sure to get in the SoM because he's been sending out some really nice group gifts lately!

FilterCam 2.0 is ready!!

Do you ever look at the blogs and feeds and think, "Wow, how can I get my photos to look better in Second Life?" Me too! For a long time, I thought everyone was just a Photoshop genius. And while there are some exceptional Photoshoppers out there, not everyone is. Some of them were using a nifty little HUD called FilterCam from MechanizedLife!

A few months ago, the fabulous brain behind MechanizedLife, CodeBastard Redgrave [or Codie, as she's known to her friends], passed out FilterCams at one of the blogger meet-ups as a gift. Awesome gift, because you know...we're bloggers, we take umpteen pics of ourselves! But I admit - I didn't use it for ages. I'm not particularly gadgety, and a quick glance at the instructions made me believe it was much too hard.

I was SO wrong.

FilterCam is incredibly easy to use! Wear it, click it fast to pull it up, click and hold for a second on it to pull up the menu, choose your filter, take a snapshot [make sure you have it marked to show HUDs!], and boom! Cute cute picture! My banner for this blog was taken using it!

I was working with an older version, but Codie has come up with a very awesome updated version, FilterCam 2.0!! Now with little submenus so you can find your favorite presets even easier! And 86 presets to choose from. 86!! All kinds of tints, patterns, and frames to make your pictures AWESOME.

This is just one of 86 that you can choose from! And not only can you choose presets, but you can customize them to your liking. Codie, bless her, sat the other night and showed me how to do it. I'm not sure if I truly understood, but I think I did. And you can also use a tutorial by Ryker Beck to learn how to make your very own FilterCam presets! So so cool!

If you have an old version of FilterCam, just wear it and the new one should be delivered to you shortly. If you don't already have it, you can pick it up at the MechanizedLife shop on the Rouge sim or onXStreet for $1000L. Believe me, it is WORTH this price. You will adore it!

Keeping my head warm

I love when designers in SL combine their talents and make collaboration pieces. I really wish more would do that!

Two of my favorite stores, Reek and Tiny Bird, have come together to make this adorable hat/hair combo - Merritt's Hatt!

Isn't it cute?? The gorgeous sculpted knit cap is texture change with 18 colors, and the hat and the pompom can be colored separately, giving you 324 color combinations! And the cutie knotted ponytail is made by Tiny Bird, and there IS a male option available. I'd show you, but I have no man, so you'll have to go to the store to look. :) It's a shaggy short cut, and it does look cute on girls as well.

You can pick up your own at Reek or Tiny Bird for only $220L. Think of it as less than $1L per color combo! At any price, you NEED to go get this. NOW!

Holiday Hot Stuff!

I had the pleasure of meeting Nymphetamine designer Paeoti Pomeray a few nights ago at a party, and what a sweetheart! It always makes me happy when I get to meet people whose talents I admire, and then I learn they're nice people, too!

For the holidays, Paeoti has created some sexy little designs that I just know would look adorable under any Christmas tree.

The Doll Baby set is just this flirty, frilly little lingerie set that made me bounce around my bedroom.

The lace work on this set is just so delicate! Often, I find that lace in SL tends to run a little bit too thick for my personal taste. But this lace is very very pretty! There is also a nice little bunch of lace on the back of the panties, much like what is on the front. The Doll Baby is $250L, and worth every bit of it.

If that covers you up too much, hey, why not try these Prissy Poinsetta pasties?

Believe me, I never expected to be wearing so little in my blog! Ever! But these little sculpted flowers are sure to put a twinkle in Santa's eye if he caught you waiting by the tree in them! For added fun, they can be turned on to make jingle bell sounds. That is optional, and you can turn them off for those of you who don't care for noises in SL. AND? These can be taken off by your partner! You'd probably get a BIG gift after that! The Prissy Poinsettas are $150L.

Now for my favorite of the bunch - Flirty Fannie!

Isn't it delish? The skirt is made of "pearls" and there is a matching bracelet. And look at that cute little hat!! I just wanted to strut around all day in it, but of course it's better in the bedroom. Or in this roomful of diamonds! This is a collaboration piece from House of Hucci and Glitterati. I'm going to have to get this myself, because I was borrowing Sophia's. :) But I thought it was perfect for this outfit - diamonds and pearls!

Flirty Fannie is on sale right now for the special holiday price of $250L. Ladies! Run and get this!!

That's all for my Nymphetamine love this time around! Go shop!

Musashi-Do & SySy's Designs Sponsor The World Holidays 2009 Exhibition and Contest

I don't usually post a lot about contests in here, but this one, I simply have to tell you guys about!

Currently happening on the 4th floor of the Musashi-Do mainstore is the Milano Holidays 2009 Photograph Exhibit. You can see awesome photos taken of Milan, Italy, by designer Shiryu Musashi. You also can get a free photo every day, or purchase a charity frame for $250L, with the proceeds from that going to Toys For Tots. I've seen the photos, and since Italy is a dream destination of mine, I absolutely love the exhibit!

But the World Holidays 2009 exhibition will open on December 20th, and this is where you guys come in! You need to send photos of YOUR local area and how it gets dressed up for the holidays! You can find all the rules and legal stuff on this page of the Musashi-Do blog, but let me tell you about the prizes!!

1st: 1 copy of every outfit Musashi-Do releases from December the 20th 2009 onwards, for life!
2nd: 1 copy of every outfit SySy's releases from December the 20th 2009 onwards, for life!
3rd to 10th: a 1000 L$ Musashi-Do Gift Card + a 1000 L$ Sysy Gift Card!

Pretty nice! Who wouldn't want free new releases for life from both of these wonderful designers??

Now if you'll excuse me...I need to go take some pics!

Today's Gaze - Pretending To Be A Fashionista

I am not really the type who can put together fabulous outfits day after day made up of all kinds of stuff and have it look good. But sometimes I do throw outfits that, to me, are kind of interesting. This one is my "Check me out, I'm pretending to be a fashionista today!" look.

I fully admit I have a very love/hate relationship with Luck Inc. I love the textures. I think Luck Inc does some of the better clothing texture work on the grid. However, sometimes I feel the talent is used for evil more than good, and I base that on how many WTFug pics I get on a weekly basis of women wearing their clothes. But, I did really love the new Sweaterdress, and with these leggings from LeLutka [these are old, from the Cachet line], it makes it much more comfortable for me to wear. I'm not a prude, I just don't always like to be on display. :)

I've been looking for a way to wear these Swank Glasses from Deco that I picked up one 50L Friday. I love them with this outfit!

And oh hey, are you looking at my shoes?

You absolutely HAVE to join the Nardcotix in world group or Subscribe-O-Matic because these very very awesome Kurvy Ruby Slippers are going to be a FREE gift! But I got mine today because Nardya is an absolute sweetheart. :) So join join join!

Thanks to sweet thing Gabby Panacek, I found this awesome little Rock Clutch from new-to-me store +plus. What a great store!! And for an extra splash of red, I'm wearing The Rock ring by caLLie cLine in Red Ruby.

I'm also wearing the Bailey hair by Truth and the Belle "Blue Silver Rubies" skin by Belleza. My poses are from Flowey and Slash Me.

Winter in my pocket!

Do you remember a few months ago, I blogged about the Pocket Gardens by Stormy Aluveaux and Carter Denja? Well, just in time for winter, they've come out with new wintery Persephone Pocket Gardens!!

These are just so cute! The pictures truly don't do them justice. The gardens are all linked together, so even for the worst landscaper on the grid [*cough* like me.], it's super easy to put together a fabulous area. The base is texture change to fit a variety of snow textures that you find in SL, but I didn't see an invisible texture like in the Thalia garden. You are also able to change the texture of the tree! If you get one with a lamp, the lamp changes colors and lights too, which is pretty much an awesome effect! I didn't change it for this photo just so you can see what it looks like as-is. You are also able to sit on the rocks or log, and turn the little bird's song on or off.

The gardens range in sizes from 4x4 to 4x6 and are very prim budget friendly from 16 to 21 prims. They are copy, but not modifiable. If you do much landscaping in SL, you know that it's often expensive, so these are fairly budget friendly as well, ranging in price from $175L to $275L. If you fatpack the Persephone garden in December, it's 50% off, making it just $350L. That is a STEAL, you guys!

Go check out the demo of the Pocket Garden. I love mine, and I know you guys will love them too!

Gimme a head with hair...

Heyyyy ladies, guess what time it is? Heck yes, it's Truth hair release time! This week's are all very cute and I don't know if I can pick a favorite!

Sarana

Lydia

Keira

Bailey - Ok, yes, this is my favorite!

Hair packs of 5 colors are $250L and fatpacks are $1500L. If you are in the Subscribe-O-Matic, you should have gotten the group gift for this week, some amazing sculpted scarves! If you're not in the SoM, head over to Truth and get in on it & check the notices for the scarves. You don't want to miss out!

I AM a princess, all girls are!

It's really rare that I'll ever use a vendor photo in here. Usually it has to be specifically requested, or it's something that I just can't get a good shot of myself. But today I'm using Shiryu Musashi's vendor photo for his latest release at Musashi-Do - Brocade Princess. Why? Well...

I'm the model for the vendor!

I'll be the first to admit that I don't have THAT many formal gowns in SL that I really really like. I don't go out dancing too often and so I never feel like I need to buy formals. But this? I am in love with it! The brocade is fabulous, it folds and dips in all the right places. There are 2 different sashes, patterned or solid, and the gloves are just amazing. It's really hard to find elegant formal gloves sometimes! The best part is that the pattern of the gown matches the pattern of the waistcoat on his Party In Venezia tuxedos. You can match your date's tux! I just love love love little things like that!

And oh, I couldn't help it. I had to take another shot. :)

Each Brocade Princess is $499L, and the fatpack is $2199L. The gowns ARE transferable, so if you're looking to surprise a special princess in your life this holiday season, you've found a great way to do it!

Head to the mainstore to get yours, and I'm sure you won't walk away empty handed!

And big big thanks to Shiryu for allowing me the opportunity to model for him!

Lol-lol-lol-Lolla!

SySy Chapman had the fun task of creating a cute dress for musician Lollo String's backup dancers, and she's sharing them with all of us! It's a good thing, too, because the new Lolla dresses are just too pretty to be missed!!

These pretty little dresses are fluffy, feathery, and oh so flirty, just perfect for dancing around in! And I should know, because the minute I put one on, I started dancing around my house! Check out the fringe work, it's really amazing! SySy did a great job at working with the alphas so they don't completely disappear around each other.

The Lolla dresses are $250L and come in the 3 colors shown here. Head to SySy's to get your own!

Be a Scrooge!

Are you holiday decorating on a slim budget this year? Well, have I got the place for you!

Mr. Scrooge's Holiday Shop has some great fun decorations for you! Nothing is overly fancy, it's just big, cute, and wintery! And....IT'S ALL FREE. Yes, you heard me! Free! And it's also pretty prim budget friendly, as nothing I'm about to show you was over 50 prims. Check it out!

Cute, right? Although in the folders, it says that the sets are no modify, they actually are, so you can feel free to change textures to match your own landscaping. I didn't for these photos so you guys can see what it looks like, but I will later when I put some of these things out. :)

When you land at Mr. Scrooge's, just head straight into the little holiday shack and touch the pictures on the walls. You'll get your free goodies instantly and there's so much more than what I've shown here. Happy holidays!

Holiday Love At Belle Belle

Belle Belle is probably one of my favorite stores in SL due to Leyla Firefly's creativity. Oh, she's primmy. She LOVES to fill up prim limits. But it's all worth it because of all the cute she puts out!

Free in the lucky board for the Belle Belle group members right now is this cute Advent calendar!

Each little pocket contains a "gift" and you can click each day to "take" the gift. [You don't really get anything, it just disappears.] As you can see, I've already taken my first 6 gifts! It is 84 prims, but if you have the prims to spare, it's perfect for your holiday decorating. To get this, you will have to stalk the lucky board AND be in group. Just search for Belle Belle and it's a free group to join. I know a lot of groups are going to pay groups right now, so it's a relief to have one that is free!

Not free, but still massively affordable, is this cute cute cute Luv Me Santa bear! You all know my love of teddy bears, so I squealed when I got this one.

This cutie has particle hearts that fly around him and he wishes you Merry Christmas if you click him. The bear is 39 prims and $50L, and is transferable so it's perfect for gifting!

Also awesome for gifting is this snowglobe!

I absolutely love snowglobes and have collected quite a few in my physical world, so it's a delight for me to see so many designers making snowglobes this year! The little kissing bears inside make me so happy! This snowglobe is 58 prims and $295L. There are other snowglobes available too!

I've got to get back to decorating for the holidays, so you head over to Belle Belle and go shopping!

Naughty or Nice?

I am ALWAYS on the hunt for new furniture. The problem is that I never know if I want to go super sophisticated, modern, rustic, or what! Today I'm featuring two sets that are kind of on opposite sides of the fence, but still both very great work!

My friend Nika Dreamscape of Wine & Roses is a very talented artist who has moved into furniture creation. Her new Blue Green Living Room set is a charming, simple set that is both budget AND prim friendly, along with having Nika's fabulous texturing!

You can pick yours up at Wine & Roses as a set for just $250L, or buy the pieces separately. The whole set is also only 43 prims, so you can't beat it!

On the other side of the spectrum, the new [and not yet released as I write this] Disco Sh!t set from Shag is definitely catering to my more "bad girl" side! Creator Shyayn Lusch had to ask me if I were easily offended because of course some people *might* be offended by the photos on the wall. But as I'm not, I found this set pretty darn awesome.

I am so loving the sequin textures, especially on the lamps! I don't have a price on this yet for you guys, but altogether this set comes in at just over 100 prims, which is great! And hey, if you don't like the pictures on the wall, cover them up. ;) Shag has all kinds of really awesome room sets, so even if this isn't your thing, you're sure to find something you like. Oh, and hit the Midnight Mania board there, will ya? I want the lights that are in it!

Thanks to Nika and Shyayn for allowing me to review their awesome work!
