Today's Gaze - End of November

It's the last day of November, and I couldn't be happier! I'm ready for December!

Today's Gaze says goodbye to November and hello to December in this semi-sexy, semi-business, semi-classy little outfit I've thrown together.

I picked up the Forester sweater during this past $50L Black Friday sale at Doppelganger Inc. I wasn't familiar with the store before, but I really like this sweater, so I know I'll be back to shop! I paired it up with the Paine mini from LeLutka, which is adorable but took me about 20 minutes to resize to fit my body since I had to mod individual prims. But, you know, it was a group gift at some point, so I'm not complaining too much. ;) On my feet are these delicious Sydney Stilettos by SLink, which I love love love lately! I'm wearing them in chocolate, and honestly, I could lick them. I bought the Dangle beads necklace from Earthstones last year when they had a special sale, but I'm pretty sure they're still available, although maybe not in these colors. I have other Dangle Beads in different colors, but I liked the little splash of blue in this one. And although I rarely wear glasses, when I do, I reach for my Clara glasses from Role Optic. Finishing up the look, I'm wearing the Jasmine.2 hair from fri.day, and my Misty in Glam Blonde skin from League. I'm using {flowey} poses.

Have a great last day of November!

Today's Gaze - Winter White

No white after Labor Day? Pfft. Not for this girl.

I love white in the winter. I think it looks incredibly clean and fresh. I'm begging designers to please please please create more white sweaters and coats! Today's Gaze came about after I found this great little sweater.

I picked the Ayana Cozy Top at Pink Outfitters for a steal at just $100L. I love tops that dip low in the back! I paired it up with my favorite Decoy jeans, the Inferno 88 in light wash, and my new Elsa boots from Surf Co., which were a rezday present to me from my best friend Sophia. Thanks, Soph! Exile just released this super cute Monica hair, which I'm wearing in Harlow, my favorite blonde shade from them. I finished up my look with the Mora skinny stack bangles from alaMood and my Beloved Silver eyes from Beloved Custom Designs, and I'm using Glitterati poses.

I think I'm ready for winter!

Sexy Kanti!

If you had asked me a couple of days ago what could be made that would pull me out of my fashion blogging slump, I wouldn't have known what to say. However, after I glanced at this new Kanti lingerie by Zaara, I immediately perked up! And who wouldn't? Take a look!!

Just gorgeous! Classy, elegant, oh-so-sexy, and that amazing Zaara texturing that we've all grown to love. I absolutely adore it!

In 6 beautiful colors, the Kanti lingerie is a steal at just $290L for one set [bra, panties, garters and stockings], or you can fatpack it for $990L. I stood there for ages trying to decide which one to buy, but I had to fatpack it in the end. I just couldn't decide!!

Get your cute butts over to Zaara now!! You know you need it!

I'm feeling very warm!

It snowed on my island recently. It's gorgeous, but brrrrr! But luckily for me, my friend Shiryu Musashi of Musashi-Do has created some gorgeous winter coats!

The December Warmth coats are just so perfect for this winter season! With a hand-painted houndstooth print and amazing prim work, you absolutely need at LEAST one of these in your wardrobe! Yes, I said at least one, because they come in 5 colors!

The classic black and white

Teal

Pink [by popular demand!]

Maroon

Blue [probably my favorite of the bunch!]

The coat also comes with a black turtleneck sweater to wear under it. And if you're worried about how the prim bottom fits, don't worry much! Shiryu has 2 versions of the bottom of the coat, a regular version [it's pretty ample in the back, for you curvy cuties!] and a "flat version" for the girls who don't have much of a butt. Plus all the prims are modifiable anyway, so you can get the best fit.

Each December Warmth coat is $449L, or you can fatpack it for $1799L. With as much as I've worn these coats in the past few days, let me tell you, fatpacking is the way to go!

Be sure to update your landmarks and picks, as the Musashi-Do mainstore has moved to a new sim, Eleganza!

I'm impressed!

One the nice things about the holiday season in Second Life is that there starts to be more formal parties, and not *quite* as many lingerie/bikini parties. Not that I'm against those at all, but there's really something to be said for putting on a gorgeous gown and dancing the night away with a handsome man in a suit.

Lile's Impression by Phoenix Rising will certainly leave an impression on your date...and everyone around you! It is fantastic!

A silky, strapless number, it creates a splash with the bright green peacock accents and short train. There is also the top belt option without the feather, but personally, I love the feather.

Lile's Impression is $520L, and there are 6 different colors available. Head to Phoenix Rising now to get your own so you can create your own wonderful impression!

I know the Truth...

There's new hair!

One of the funniest things was last Friday when people started asking, "Hey...where's the new Truth hair??" It's like we're trained! :) But he was a few days late because of the opening of his new sim JUST for hair. You can still find his fashions at the Truth Fashion sim.

So lucky us, we get TWO new releases this week! I'm wearing them all in his new Swedish blonde shade, a perfect pale blonde shade that I just love love love! He has 10 new hair colors, and the Jess hair is free at the front if you want to check the new colors out.

Ok ok, on with the hair!

Harper - A swoopy ponytail with a messy long-ish front.

Micah - A shaggy cut with absolutely adorable bangs.

Paloma - A medium length style with long layers. This reminds me of my RL hair. Well, when I'm not growing it long!

Tallulah - A messy little side bun. So so cute!

Each color pack of hair is $250L, and the fatpack is $1500L.

What are you doing still reading? Go shopping!

T Junction!

So my adorable shopaholic friend Wilma told me yesterday that I needed to go to T Junction because they had cute shirts and panties. I love a good shirt [and good panties!] so I made my way over there today.

Big mistake.

Everything was so cute, I went NUTS! I wanted every single shirt they had to offer! I mean, look!!

These are just 3 that I bought. Believe me, my inventory is holding a lot more. And they're pretty inexpensive at just $75L a shirt. There is a discount area where I found $40L shirts, and there are a bunch of freebies at the front when you walk in, along with a gift shirt if you join the subscribe-o-matic. There are shirts for men, too! And the shirts are transferable, so perfect for gifting your friends!

I will mention that if you are one who is against creators who use templates for their work, the shirts at T Junction are not for you. I know these are made using a specific template because I have other t-shirts that are the same, but I love these, so I kinda don't mind today. :)

Beautifully Envious

I know, two Phoenix Rising posts in the same week. But when such gorgeous things come out of there, how can I possibly help myself?

This beautiful number, Cassandra's Envy, is not my usual style since I'm more of a jeans & sweaters girl. But I am so in love with it!

Isn't it wonderful? I absolutely love the huge fluffy skirt. It made me feel like a ballerina! But the double belt and the opened top gives it more of a rockstar edge. So I guess I'm a rockstar ballerina!

Cassandra's Envy comes in 7 different colors and each is just $300L. Or get a huge discount and fatpack for just $990L.

Don't hurt me, but I actually have more Phoenix Rising posts coming up. Hey, when you have such pretty things to show off, it would almost be a sin not to do it!

Time to shop!

I'm in the mood!

When alaMood designer Jori Watler showed me a picture some time ago of a necklace she was making, I squealed in delight because it was just so cute. It was different than any other necklace I had in SL and I loved it at first sight. My love only grew when she did some amazing texture work on it, and then again when she added matching earrings and bangles. [I have a love for bangles that is almost obscene.] I think I've worn some part of the Athshe set for the past few days. It's wonderful!!

How could you not love it? The links of the necklace are not your typical perfect circles or ovals, which I find really refreshing. And that delicate flower etching is TOO cute! The Athshe set comes in Silver, Gold, and Iced. I love the Iced one, it's so perfect for winter.

Each set contains the necklace, earrings, and bangles for both the right and left wrists, and is a steal at just $350L

You'll probably see me in more alaMood jewelry as times goes on, because Jori is awesome and her work totally shows it.

Go shopping!!

Five SySy's, $5L!

Do you love awesome dresses? Me too! Do you love awesome dresses that are only $1L? Me too!!

The adorable SySy decided to do something fun, and for $5L, you can get yourself a fatpack her new Autumn Roses dresses. But there IS a catch. You have to go to all her stores to get the entire pack! But believe me, it is worth it, because these are CUTE!

Each color comes with the slim skirt and the poofy skirt with roses. I can't tell which is my favorite! Five luscious colors [yes, there is a Red and a Cherry, which look almost the same in the picture but the Cherry is deeper] and they're just cute and sexy and I am in love with these dresses!

Here are the places you need to go to get all the colors.

Red: Frank's Place
Blue: Winterstock
Purple: ICON Lifestyle
Teal: EarthBound
Cherry: SySy's Mainstore

Remember, each is only $1L, so if there's a color you don't like, you can pick and choose. It's worth it!

My Motive Is Fashion

Phoenix Rising is one of those stores where I instantly feel more fashionable just by walking into it. With their upcoming release, Motive, I have no reason to change my opinion. I don't usually like to show off outfits that are not available for sale yet, but after receiving a preview copy last night...well, I just can't seem to help myself. It's so awesome!

I found this to be a very "business chic" outfit. You can wear any of the pieces by themselves to mix and match with other pieces in your wardrobe, which is something I just adore. And hello, seamed stockings! Tell me, who doesn't find that just completely sexy? Now yes, that IS a system skirt you're looking at. Don't get scared, ladies! Just make yourself a skirt shape! I found I just had to reduce my butt and saddlebags slightly to get the form I wanted. [Oh, if only I could do that in the physical world!] There's a pretty light pink tank that is included with this outfit but is not shown here.

I believe Motive is coming out in the next couple of days, so when it does, I will update this post with the price and how many colors are going to be available. But while you're waiting, why not go to Phoenix Rising now and find some other wonderful creations to dress up in? You know you want to!

Baby, it's cold outside...and inside!

On my island, we're all starting to get excited because snow is "predicted" in our weather forecast later this month. To get ready for it, my adorable and super talented friend Aisuru Rieko of Beloved Custom Designs decided to make an Ice Castle for her parcel. And luckily for you guys, she's selling it!

If you head over to her store and click the teleport board to go up to where she has her prefabs rezzed, you can wander around this deliciously icy creation. Although I'll get to see the castle on the island when the snow falls, I had to go check it out now!

These pictures do not - DO NOT - do the castle justice. I strongly urge you guys to go check it out for yourself. If you do any kind of winter landscaping, you owe it to yourself to get this castle!

While you're at BCD, check out all of Aisuru's other creations. She makes all kinds of whimsical landscaping items, as well as some of the most gorgeous eyes in Second Life!

Bundle Up With Bublee Bing!

As I said on Monday, designer Bublee Bing loaded me up with goodies last week, so this is part two of the BB goodness.

It's getting closer to winter in my neck of the woods, but it's never quite cold enough to wear thick coats where I am. Luckily in SL, I can wear the lush coats of my dreams without worrying that I'm going to die of heat stroke. These new beauties from Bublee are everything I could possibly want in a winter coat.

Just LOOK at the texturing on these coats! I just want to roll around in them! The Retro Red mini and the Loden Gray midi coats are just full of winter love. Each comes with options for the closed collar and the open collar, and the black tights to wear underneath. I'm sure I'll be wearing these with jeans too!

The mini coat is $420L and the midi is $480L, and there are several colors available.

What are you waiting for? Go grab a coat at Bublee Bing before you get cold!

Today's Gaze - I Don't Like Your Girlfriend!

I was wandering around Crush Row last night [truly one of my favorite shopping areas in SL. It's gorgeous.] and stumbled into Von Ducky. This t-shirt caught my eye and made me laugh, and so... Today's Gaze was born.

Now is this shirt the highest quality? Nah. You can see the hems aren't exactly awesome. But it's so cute, I don't mind.

Underneath I put on a green shrug & gloves that I picked up from Torridwear I don't even know HOW long ago. They've been in my inventory pretty much since I rezzed, I think. Because the shrugs are on the shirt layer, it makes them PERFECT for putting underneath t-shirts for a layered look. I tinted the green darker that it originally is. I wasn't sure if you could still get them, but go backstage at Torrid's store. They're still there, and you get 6 colors for just $20L. It's a hell of a deal.

My Garage jeans from League and my PornStar Hi-Tops from Urban Bomb Unit are staples in my inventory. In fact, if clothing in SL wore out ever, these would be falling apart because I wear them so often. League really is my favorite place for jeans, even if they are a little pricier than most places.

Ryker Beck of Exodi has been teasing us on Plurk [along with bad girl Jori Watler!] with glimpses of her new Sienna skin. Yesterday she generously gave her VIP group a preview of Sienna. Look at my face, it is gorgeous!! The whole skin is marvelous, and this is a first for me because I never have managed to look good in any of the Exodi skins before. It always made me sad to see Sophia in them because she looked soooo good and I never did. But Sienna...wow. I love it! I can't wait for them to be released. The Exodi group is a pay group [$250L], but Ryker spoils us, so it's worth it. I'm wearing her Zbilja Spirit eyes in Crystal Blue, which were also a group gift.

And to tie it all up, I'm wearing [still] the gorgeous Green II hair in Beach Blond from Maitreya and the Delicious Lollipop rings & bangles from SyDS, one of my favorite fun ring shops. My poses are from Pffiou! which is currently not open while my favorite French girl takes a bit of an SL break.

Oh, and for some reason, the shirt reminded me of this song, which is now embedded in my head. :-p

Stay Warm!

Usually when I receive review copies from a store, I try to put them all in one post. But designer Bublee Bing dropped so many yummy goodies on me, I'm just going to have to break it up. :)

These gorgeous knitted pullovers are JUST my style. In fact, I will be dying to find ones just like this in my physical world! I just had to get these creamy beige ones!

You can choose between the loose neck sweater, or the turtleneck. Each one comes in plain or with the braid down the front. The loose neck comes with two different styles of sleeves as well. I just could NOT be happier with these lovely sweaters and have just been switching between them for the past couple of days. There are several colors to choose from, but not a fatpack that I saw. You can get the single colors of sweaters for $165L for the turtleneck [5 colors available], and $180L for the loose neck [4 colors available]. They are absolutely necessary for everyone's fall and winter wardrobe!

If you're into a more preppy look, then the Pullunder Caro is for you!

A charming little sweater vest, this also comes with the shirt to wear underneath, and you can wear the shirt separately without the vest. The shirt has 3 lengths of sleeves, too, which is pretty cool. I didn't pick one up to show, but there is another version of the vest with the full plaid print on it. You can pick up the vest and shirt for $280L, and there are 5 colors available.

Later this week, I'll show off just the cutest little coats for this winter season from Bublee Bing!
