Here In My Deep Purple Dreams

Collabor88 is open! If you like fun, colorful, kitschy things - this is definitely the month for you!




Trompe Loeil did this awesome Dreamy Genie bottle and oh my God, is it cool! You can fit a bunch of your friends in it, and it comes in different colors and in both adult and PG versions.

My lovely lilac Cindy shoes are from Ingenue and I can't call them anything other than adorable! I love a great wedge, and with the sweet little bows on the tops, they'll be making a lot of appearances on my feet!

D!va brings us the Norma hair, a messy curly short style that makes me want to just put my fingers in my hair and play with the curls all day. The hair comes with 2 different bangs.

In non-C88 news, last night I had a nice little conversation with PXL skins designer Hart Larsson. What a sweet guy! I'll admit that I'm not really very familiar with his skins [I tend to find a skin I like and stick with it for ages] but he introduced me to his Kate skin. I just love it! It has a very cute face and lots of makeup options. Total love!

Ur.Favorite.One has just the cutest things for C88 this round! The Flamingos Day cardigans and Flamingos panskirts are just fab! The cardigans have that vintage look that I just adore, and the skirts are very cute! I will say that I would like the alpha for the cardigans to be just a little longer on my arms because in certain poses my skin pokes out, but I'll mod an alpha at some point.

Yummy has a Plastic Charm Necklace for C88 that is just soooo much like the ones from the 80s!! Did you all have them? I collected charms like crazy back then. I'm just thrilled with this necklace!

If you haven't been out to see Cica Ghost's Black and White World, you need to go! I went out there last night and it was amazing! I plan on visiting often!

Collabor88 starts tomorrow, and check out the Davenport mesh tops from The Sea Hole! The theme for this month's event is Pink Flamingos. "Pink Flamingos" - A colorcentric Theme summed up in the non mainstream cinematic expoits of John waters, Plastic kitschyness and General Deviance. It's going to be FUN!

Mr. Truth put out new hair last night, and I am totally in love with the new Mayim updo! Have you checked out Truth's new color fades pack? I'm very into the whole idea of dip dyed hair or colorful pieces [having made part of my RL hair pink recently!] so the new colors make me very happy!

And last but not least, the new Equestrian boots at Gos are just so...well, no words! I just can't stop looking at my feet! Long and lean boots with a lovely stiletto heel? I can't think of anything better for my feet this season! As most of you know, Gospel's dear kitty was recently in an accident and after receiving so much support, the very classy Mr. Voom has decided to raise money for the PDSA - The People's Dispensary for Sick Animals - by creating a special edition of each new release. You can read all about it on his blog. :)

I'll Be Your Teenage Dream

I have always loved a short plaid skirt. Yes, they can sometimes come off as too schoolgirlish, but plaid? Never goes out of style. Plus, this outfit got a big thumbs up from the husband, so yay for that!




Eclectic Wingtips did such a fabulous job for FaMESHed this month! The Grace turtlenecks and Allure skirts are just what I've been looking for in SL lately! I went a bit more "young" with my look, but you can easily pair the turtleneck with jeans, or the skirt with tights and boots. I want all the colors now!

I swear, the moment I saw these at FaMESHed last night, I screamed a little because these are SO ME. Especially in the fall when all I want are comfy cozy clothes. Some of the sweaters have numbers and some do not and there's a bunch of different colors to choose from. Total love!

I think I'm going to curl up in my new sweats and play a game!

Oh, I think they do make passes.

I love wearing glasses. In my physical world, I wear contacts almost every day because they're easy, but in SL, I just adore wearing all kinds of glasses. And I think I actually squealed a little when I put on the new Softpaw glasses from Krystal today. They're just too cute!




The glasses are just so sweet and delicate with the tiny little color-change gems and scroll work! I love when people put such fine detailing into things, and these definitely don't disappoint. Even the ear pieces are detailed! Love love love.

FaMESHed started today, and look at how adorable the new Izumi pigtails from Wasabi Pills are! I'm totally in love with this hair, even if it does make me look a little young. The hair is only partially rigged mesh. The bangs are not rigged, so you can edit and move them around if you need to. I didn't need to, it fit perfectly out of the box!

Although you can't see my entire pose, it comes from Status, and Status is 2 years old today! Happy store birthday, Gidge!! :)
