Oh my god, y'all. OH MY GOD. There are SO many amazing events happening in May, you're going to be simply run off your feet and your head will explode in happy!! I don't even know where to start, so I'm just going to start talking.




I don't have all the SLurls for you yet [or at least, I'm not allowed to give them out yet] so don't think I'm deliberately holding out! I will update with SLurls just as SOON as I get them/am able to post them.

FaMESHed starts tomorrow, May 1st, and it's going to be a new monthly event for MESH! All original mesh stuff, no templates!! Yeahhh baby! You guys know how much I adore mesh, so I'm super excited! This is NOT a discount event.

Also starting tomorrow is the Summer Beauty Festival! This festival is all about MAKEUP! I just love makeup, don't you?




There's been events for so many different things, it's great that the makeup artists are getting a chance to shine!

Starting on May 4th [May the 4th be with you! LMAO!], we have Culture Shock! CHIC Management always puts on some fabulous events, as you all well know, and this promises to be amazing! I was out there earlier and the stores that have set up... Well folks, you're going to LOVE it.

Lazy Days!

It's Spruce Up Your Space time!! I swear, I just love this event! Of course, I'm a total home & garden addict. Funky Junk doesn't disappoint with the new Lazy Days Hanging Bed and Gazebo!






The gazebo is just awesome and comes in at 37 prims. It does include the bed! But you can also purchase just the hanging bed on its own if you aren't in need of a gazebo for your garden. The hanging bed is 17 prims, no copy/no modify, and has 19 couples cuddles and 7 single poses. Get it this weekend for SUYS if you want the discounted price!!

Taking It Back

When you're a little overwhelmed with current fashion, do you ever feel the need to take it back in time? Way back in 2008 or so, I used to be crazy for the Hal*Hina camping chairs. Every month there was something cute that I didn't mind sitting for 10-20 minutes for. But as you tend to do in SL, I stopped going there much. Yesterday the store popped up in my brain, so I headed over. And, just like it always was, I found the most adorable dress!




The Simple Mini is just that - simple and adorable in its simplicity. You have the choice of a belt with a bow or without, and it comes in different colors. It's also pretty inexpensive if you need a cute dress to wear and you're on a budget. It's not mesh or anything, so no worrying about sizes as it has a resize script.

Go on, now. Go back to a store you used to love back in the day and find something new to wear!

Together In Paris

I just love the beginning of a new month because I know that it's almost time for a new round at Collabor88!! April's theme is "French New Wave" and, as usual, the designers are putting out some great stuff!! But let me suggest that instead of going on opening day this time, wait a couple of days because with the Easter holiday and people going to visit family and such, not everyone is going to be able to put out their items by the 8th.




The Sea Hole has a great new mesh dress called Parisian Glitter. It's simple, but you know that's my favorite kind of dress because you can dress it up or down in many ways. There are also matching accessories you can buy, like the bracelet, earrings, and cigarette I am holding. You can strut around in your new dress in the Paris Penthouse skybox that Barnesworth Anubis has put out! It comes with the backdrop that you can see out of the windows, or no backdrop if you prefer looking at the sky. It's really elegant!

This isn't for Collabor88, but have you SEEN the new mesh eyelids at SLink?! Where have these been all my SLife?? No more do you have to try to catch your avatar blinking or draw in your eyelids in photos! They're adjustable and you can tint the lids to match your skin or look like you're wearing eye shadow. I just tinted with a light lavender for this photo, but I sure had fun tinting them bright green and blue!
